We've got to play in a similar way to the Newcastle game - hit them on the break which we are capable of doing with Pete / Long. Bring in Dorrans for injured Brunt so we have him and Morrison capable of picking out the front men. Generally wake up from today's display.

I know this won't happen but I'd be tempted to give it Gareth McAuley. Vocal, passionate, reads the game well, leads by example, commands the players respect (from interviews I've read), and always seems to have a good game.
West Bromwich Albion, finishing above Staffordshire's finest when in the same league over the last 12 years

I would play some of the 2nd team for this and cardiff and give some players a break.

Shorey
Mcauly
Dawson
Jones

Tychoi
Morrison
Thorpe
Dorrens

Cox
Fortuna

It's easy to have faith in yourself and have discipline when you're a winner, when you're number one. What you got to have is faith and discipline when you're not a winner.

Can't believe some of the comments here, play the second team ?

Its a Prem game which we have the same chance of winning as Spurs. Blackburn won at Utd, Villa won at Chelsea, we even got a point there last season proving anything can happen if you actually have a go so if we are rolling over before kickoff then Roy will get the same dogs abuse for it that Robson, Mowbray and RDM got when they did the same.

Its a pooh night to go to London, its a rubbish price just after Christmas and if we are playing the 'reserve' squad bearing in mind its a cup game at the weekend and the 1st choice players will have a day off then let me know now and i'll take my ticket back and stay at home.

You play your strongest available team in every game possible.

Personally i'd say McAuley but i'd expect probably Morrison.

Something we have lacked since Derek McInnes and none of the current squad have what is needed.
