Walk out music
« on: August 19, 2018, 06:36:55 AM »
What, in the blue hell, was that yesterday? Where’s Insomnia and the Liquidator gone? Bad move imo by who ever has decided to change it to that. If it’s not broken and all that..

This walk out music has to go! It’s terrible and gets progressively worse until it’s just a jumbled up noise that comes to an end only when the ref blows his whistle. What was wrong with the liquidator? They should be getting the crowd going not drowning them out!

This?

I actually like the guitar bit - it's from an old Ashanti song which was from somewhere else originally, but the song is badly done imo.

There's also this song we play which is a bit cheesy but growing on me.

Well yeah, that ‘cheesy’ song you’ve posted I actually like during be build up, but I’m referring to the walk out music which was always insomnia. The new one is garbage imo.

Personal taste but I've always had a problem with the liquidator. Some fans like a bit of agro from a distance with opposing fans in the ground but I like to have a chat  to a few of them in the pub....I don't then want to tell them to f*** off during the liquidator.

But isn't that only aimed at one set of fans ?

I'd suggest two sets of fans as I save my derision for the pink and blue pyjama clan, except for when we're playing the Dogheads of course.

I suggest you start going to watch the netball or something then mate. You can chat to them in the pub by all means, i doubt they're going to pick you out of a crowd when everyone's singing about the dings. Then I really doubt you're going to see them in the pub after the game.

I've heard it's aimed at Wolves before - but it's aimed more at the day's opponents in my experience.

Thanks for the advice but I'm fine where I am. I just don't see the point, we are all different....and from where I'm sat it's not about the dings.

Are you on about the same thing as everyone else here? As in the liquidator ...? And “f**k off wanderers, Wet Brom!” ?
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone sing any other team than wolves ... ever. and I’m 31.

It was "we hate Villa, West Brom" all through the 70's and early 80's.

definitely directed at Vile a bit more forceful than "we hate Villa" where we stood back then.
