Didn't catch what they said in comms but they haven't won a lot of games in last 15 . Expect them to just have enough but another for us to aim at . Need Chelsea to show against Brighton.

The concern is we need Fulham and maybe even Sheffield United to win a couple of games too. Absolutely tiny margins of error available to us even if we keep winning.

Timing is off imo. Cup final next week. I do wonder if he's come out against this SL.

Angling for a pay off ahead of all this nonsense and a likely defeat next week

He comes out of this smelling of roses.

And yes, I do have notifications on the Perce.

I just wanted to beat Gazberg in posting the news  :D

Not too surprised to be honest. His style of football is not working at Spurs, would have surely gone at the end of the season.

I think Nagelsmann is nailed on for the Bayern job. But Ralf Rangnick is currently looking for a new job and says he wants to find a club in Germany or England with a long tradition.

That might rule Spurs out then as they've just taken a hefty balti dump on their (and everyone else's) football traditions.

Rangnick has sort of moved into a Director of Football role in recent years, hasn't he?

Yes, that's what he was at RB leipzig, but now he's happy to do either DOF or regular manager. Talks with his old club Schalke broke down and has been doing TV interviews last month in which he stresses he wants to work for a 'traditional' German or English club. He has fond memories here from his time as a student in Sussex. He's a bit highly strung, but I reckon he's way ahead of most PL managers.

Not sure his style is working anywhere at the moment. Great formula though - get a hefty contract, look good for 12 months and then engineer being sacked. Money in the bank and wait for the next idiot to come along.

I seem to remember Pulis doing the same......

You can't compare Mourinho, one of the greatest ever in the modern era to Tony Pulis.

He's the most successful manager at Man Utd since Ferguson and may have gone on to win Spurs their first trophy in over 10 years. Yes, his spark has gone perhaps but he's still a great manager.

Don't recall I did Argo........

Mourinho has won bucket loads, Pulis hasn't - end of.

However, they are both following the same employment pattern these days that I mentioned earlier, that was all I was saying.

Ironically a couple of years ago, Mourinho had high praise for Pulis, and even said that if he owned a football team in England, he would have Pulis as his manager....

Chelsea struggling to create much against Brighton. 0-0. Wonder if the players are effected by Super League talk.

I think it’s time for all of  us to stop looking at other results and just accept that it is now a lost cause and that we are going down. If big Sam stays he will have the influence to get the club to loosen the purse strings and sign the players needed to bounce back at the first attempt.
