“West Brom target Kyle Bartley in £4m deal with Swansea”

Should be completed before the weekend according to Sky Sports

I always get slightly worried when I see the phrase "according to Sky sources"!!!!

Whether it works or not remains to be seen. Personally I'm delighted and I think it's a masterstroke from Pulis and will at least cut him some slack for a while till it all goes t*ts up or not as the case may be. Megson will get a great reception from most including me.

So that's it then for shirts with stripes front and back. Always disliked a plain back personally. Unfortunately no more home shirts for me. Hope we get some nice away tops to compensate. Mind you I've got a cupboard full of old strips to see me through. Might finally get some proper wear out of them 😊

The report in the Birmingham Mail also says that Hammond recommended Dan Ashworth to us when we'd tried to get Hammond back in the day. That turned out pretty well so fingers crossed...if it's true of course.

Would have liked to have gone to this one but at £40 it's a step too far. Add this game to all the other home matches so close together over Christmas and New year that's a fair old wedge. I've settled for the Cup game next week instead and some decent seats for a change.

Olsen is getting on a bit and getting slower.
Why was he picked in the first place?
When he went down, I said that he would be going off (waste of a sub).
In the 50's and 60's, the "magic" sponge would have come out, and he would have been back up.
Because GMac was injured. No way would Olsson have been beaten for the first goal had he still been on the pitch.

I'd laugh but I suspect I know whats coming next week , 98% behind the ball.
How did Lescott play ?
Had a decent first half although he took a booking for the team when he got caught out and had to stop Leicester breaking away. Didn't really notice him 2nd half, was too busy enjoying Leicester ripping them apart :-)

Best of luck Bobby. Thought he may have come good this season but players aren't allowed time to settle nowadays. Hope he does well in Greece.

We're going on the train too and hoping to get there early, just before 11. I believe the pub opposite the station is called The Hind and the other one mentioned at the top of the page is called The Counting House but a decent walk from the station. Will see how the mood takes us.
