Any news if when he'll be back in training?

None whatsoever and that’s a concern

We could have been ahead at half time having had a decent first half. Second half Hull were very bright and proved, yet again, that there isn’t much to choose between teams in this league. Would have played Holgate right back and left Diakite in at centre half. Got to find a way to get more from Armstrong. I would be playing a big centre forward with him. Harsh to say the result was all Mowbray’s fault when there are many other reasons.
Shout out for Wildsmith. Without his saves second half, we lose the game.

Goal was not his fault. Too many bodies around him. Made a good double save and then an excellent stop when their guy was one on one. Credit where it’s due.

I’m thinking Price at right back? He effectively played there against Burnley

Right wing back I expect.

We need to win this game.

Hull are in some good form though, and on their day a decent championship side.

If we can keep the level of performace we have recently though I expect us to beat them.

Need Maja back in this side.

Of course we need Maja. But it's not happening anytime soon.

Mowbray must think he'll work otherwise why get him in?
In Fellows, Johnston,  Grant,  Diangana, Price, Bany and Swift...also Wallace too when fit, we definitely have the players to create chances for him...they just need to do

There is no doubt in my mind that we are not creating enough shooting opportunities for him. If I recognise  this, I have every confidence that TM does too. Solve this and he scores more goals.

Definitely not the wrong appointment in my view but some are very fickle and feel we should win every game. If only that was so!

Sorry KN22 what is the rhetoric? I'm saying all managers and players deserve time.  A few posters on here don't seem to agree which I find disappointing

You saying that all managers deserve time, which I agree with. But you placed the blame for the defeat at Plymouth on Mowbray. A game that came early in his tenure as I recall.

Yes and there were also some blaming him when we lost to Plymouth I recall. Or is that spoiling the rhetoric? It was always going to take a little time and so it is proving.

Terrible error tonight, but not sure he needs to be dropped.

Very hard call to make imo.

I do not expect him to be dropped. We will see soon enough.

Excellent display and result. Was critical of the team selection but happy to be proved wrong. Disappointed by their goal of course but keepers mistakes are always magnified. Such a pity Palmer had to go. Swift excellent, Styles and Diakite too. Leave him in the team Tony!

Who’s missing out there? I can’t even process that bench I have no idea who the youth players are.

Johnston Molumby Fellows Bartley and Furlong are all missing

Looks like he’s writing this game off and thinking more about Saturday. I hope I’m wrong because I strongly disagree with such a strategy. We will see.

Interesting Jimmy.  I would like him to get a run of games as I think that, overall , he may have more to offer than Molumby. Don’t see it happening though…

Let’s see how things go without him. We may be pleasantly surprised.

Yep, agree with Hull, Holgate starts at FB, his best position.

If JM is suspended (who knows?) bring Diakite in.

JM is not suspended. He could have been sent off on Saturday but that’s another story.

Was good to see him get minutes on Saturday. Still looks a bit short on fitness but got involved in a couple of heavy challenges which is important for his mental recovery. Encouraging overall I think.

Any news about his progress as he was supposed to be back this month I think?

When fit would play him cf with AA on the left and TF on the right and MJ dropped.

Was still in a protective boot 10 days ago is all I know.

I agree Barrington. Long way to go if he’s to be a top player. I don’t think he played well today and fully expected the half time change that happened after the sending off.

For me he is a very big upgrade on Molumby. He has that drive and aggression of Mulumby but he can pass cross and keep his temper. I think long term a midfield of Price and Mowatt with a new 10 next season is the future.

I can agree with that. Molumby, for all the positives, is always on the edge and I would have taken him off at half time as I genuinely felt we were going to end up with 9 men out there today. Back on subject, Price could prove to be the best signing we have made in many years. Lots of quality and not afraid of hard work either.

Great result under the circumstances. Price superb as was Bartley who was my man of the match. Other results went well too.

Get Molumby and Fellows off please
Don't want to be down to 9 men

A very reasonable increase in my view. I'll be renewing.

I agree with you. Given the clear goal of premier league status in the near future I fully expected a bigger increase. Our price are little more than half of those charged by Villa.

I believe this is game 36 when the '10 yellow card =2 game suspension' ends so would leave Molumby out so he can face Burnley.

Coventry seem to be the 'dark horse' late form team this season, although their players were always better than their earlier league position suggested, so 3 points will be as vital as ever.

I may be wrong but have been trying to find out about the bookings amnesty and information is not readily available. I did however see reference to 32 games being the key milestone for 10 bookings. Cannot swear that this is correct though.
