Was a thoroughly enjoyable day
Was surprised GMac wasn't there

On the E&S - Brunt explained: “Gareth was one of the big ones we couldn’t get him here because he works for Northern Ireland, but he was a big player for us right through from (Roy) Hodgson.”

The turning point in the season was undoubtedly Coventry (A) 04/12/2021.

Ismael had stumbled on a reasonable team by default.  To then change a winning only 7 days later Reading (H) was a joke.  We stumbled to a win in that match but fell away in subsequent games.

What we have now is a team with a crisis of confidence and certain players not wanting to play.

Bruce has been away from management, most fans have been quicker to see the shortcomings than himself.  By the time he has "come up to speed" the play-offs will be out of sight, unless he can conjure something dramatic in the next 3 games?
In fairness to Val wasn't it Reading the COVID game where we had about 5 players out with COVID and also Grady out with an alternative illness?

Don't get me wrong I think he still would have made some changes - such as Livermore being brought back instantly

I was just wondering that, noticing he came on second half (I couldn't see the game and only saw the highlights). Who was it who missed that header from five yards out?
Not seen it since, but at the time from the Smethwick end it appeared to be Reach?

I don't suppose anybody on here knows how to apply the season ticket discount online? I can't figure it out at all. Cheers in advance if anybody can help.
Do you mean the 5% discount STH get? If so we don't get that anymore

They have supposedly added £5 credit to our accounts though, doesn't show me for however  ::)

Does anyone know if the club shop are letting you try shirts on?

Introducing the brand new 2021/22 West Bromwich Albion PUMA away kit.

Albion fans will recall numerous black kits from the club’s recent history - and the Baggies are back in black for the new campaign.

The shirt features a PUMA chequered flash and is made out of lightweight polyester with moisture wicking technology.

Don’t mind it, couple of things I’m not overly keen on, but don’t hate it

Now it's the Germans

I'd rather not play Hungary tbh, done a lot better than most expected in that group, plus 2016 is too fresh in the memory, Hungary could easily be this years Iceland for us

It's just nice knowing who you play and when, looking at games you can start eying up to go to etc - for instance away grounds you've never been to

I'd say games being moved for Sky won't be anywhere near as bad as in the Prem, and even if they are, you can still decide if you want to go to it

West Bromwich Albion FC / Fixtures 21/22

Couldn't see anything on this topic so thought I'd create a topic for it

Fixtures are released tomorrow at 09:00

Who are people hoping we open against, and are there any fixtures you'll be looking out for? Blues for the "derby" of the season, also who we start/end against, along with who we play Boxing/New Years day for me

Got through, there’s some error code showing for some reason, they don’t even know what it means

They will call me back today or tomorrow (most likely tomorrow)

Sounds like they are getting battered on the phone lines

I never paid last year as I didn't expect there to be any fans let in, just had one in 19/20

I don't get why they changed the system, didn't have any issues with the last one. This looks like it's not even finished but they've just rolled it out anyway

I fully acknowledge this is going to seem like a daft question, but were you a season ticket holder in 2019-2020?
Yeah mate
