Yes, I sit fairly close to where that incident occurred. Not a booking or even a foul for me.

Yep won the ball from where I was sat. Seem to be seeing more of those sorts of tackles being punished nowadays

This is the best he has played for us since his arrival imo.

Keep it DF.

Overall still a poor player, apart from his long throw in and athleticism does not have the quality, skill and consistency needed if our team is to progress :o

always was a backup like Townsend who due to no funding became a regular starter, have the worst fullbacks in top half of division. And that doesn’t say much for Pippa.

Someone has applied the Fantasy premier league points system the championship and used it to create a championship team of the season.  Kipre, Palmer and Furlong all make it using those metrics.  With us having kept the most clean sheets it is not surprising but the defense have done well as a unit.

Some turnaround given that after pre-season and until the end of September many were wondering how on earth we would compete conceding 2 goals a game. Including Millwall on September 23rd, its 15 clean sheets in 27 matches.

Megson kept a club record 24 clean sheets in the league, ill be difficult for this defense and CC to do that, but if we maintain the consistency of clean sheets since the the Millwall I have us hitting 21!

If only we had an out and out goal scorer.

Reading various threads on here, it seems that ,according to some posters, we have an average (at best) keeper, 2 poor full backs, one centre half whose legs have gone and 3 others who have a mistake in them every match.

I can only assume that every team we play has an inept forward line - how else could we have the third best defensive record in the league?

We have an absolute genius of a manager who has us so well organised the team is far more than the sum of its parts. Or we could have world class defenders, who am I to say either way  ;D

I see he was back to his suboptimal performance on Friday, his first touch is still abysmal and his spatial awareness non existent
I will however acknowledge that his recent performances have been adequate and agree that this is probably due to better coaching. He is still and old school athlete with average technical skills

I do not disagree. But this is true of many of our players. Average and performing above the expected level in some but not all matches.

Unfair, Average and performing above the expected level in MOST but not all matches.

I stand corrected. It was however meant as a compliment to these guys who have us where we are in the league. I think Furlong is an absolutely prime example of this.

Just seen the clearance off the line - saved us a point there, brilliant instincts to get back in to cover

Anyone know what the problem was with the QPR fan and him after the whistle ?

Probably his Dad, as he's a QPR legend and u23 coach.

Played well again. Brilliant clearance.

Clearance aside I honestly thought he was below this season's levels last night. Two points to consider though. So were several of his teammates and QPR pressed us very well in all areas of the pitch.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

goal line clearance was very good, but the rest of his play was just an accident waiting to happen.

This. People saying he had a good game  :o he really didn’t, he just made one stunning goal line clearance which saved us
