Yes. Come out all guns blazing, frighten them and keep them on the back foot.
Attack is the best form of defence.
If you are in their half, they have to run the length of the pitch to try to score.

Well, at least half a pitch length (less shooting range)

This time tomorrow we'll either be in the play offs or witnessing a massive meltdown on here with wild comments aplenty.

What does wild comments aplenty mean?

Nappy filling man babies 'aplenty' having emotional outpourings would be my guess  ;D .

I think there’ll be a great atmosphere tomorrow and I think we’ll win.

The play-offs are a different story, but let’s get there first.

Over the top hypebole calling for the manager's head stuff like that or to be blunt what Dan says.

What qualifies/defines people as filling their pants though?

Over the top hypebole calling for the manager's head stuff like that or to be blunt what Dan says.

What if people are 'just ' disappointed? I'd be very disappointed and for me the season will be a failure, i got no problem stating that now. I understand that others might not see things that way but i'm not sure that makes people wild etc.

In most situations after a "disappointment" anger and frustration set in and we say things that in a more rational state of mind we would'nt.
This is not everyone but seeing the comments on the matchday thread and after a loss I would fully expect a massive meltdown.

I fully expect us to achieve the point required for a play off place! The play offs themselves are a different kettle of fish which tbh I'd be surprised if we got through! I expected this season to be a struggle, next season probably will be irrelevant of which league we're in! We've done well, what will be will be! 1-0 for me!

We have done very well, over-achieved in my book. Having got this close however it would be disappointing to miss out. Come on lads, do it for us. Let’s worry about play-offs once we get there.

For me it’s a failure if we don’t make the play offs now given the position we were in.

I'm confident about tomorrow, wouldn't be surprised if both Norwich and Hull lose either.

Am I correct that we've got 12 points from the possible 33 since Shilen Patel bought us...?

Did the squad and CC think, ok, we're safe now?

Just a thought, hope I'm not being too negative....

It may be a coincidence.  More likely having someone in charge who knows what they're doing and they can't deal with the pressure, Corboran included.   Certainly the out of contract players would have more chance of a contract extension if we don't go up.

Will be interesting to see if Maja starts, this is the last opportunity to get some minutes into his legs.

CC says on the bench with the confidence of having score two in the week. .

I'm a little worried about the fact we will probably have three out of contract players in the side and Townsend at LB who has been appalling recently.  Yokuslu has also been a liability in the last two games.

We should have qualified for the POs weeks ago and we've messed up big-time.

You cannot just switch form and desire on.

But if we can't get a point at home against Preston - who have lost the last four -  then we don't deserve to qualify.

We obviously need to go up financially but either way there needs to be the biggest clear out in our history.  Half the squad know this,  so Corboran has one hell of a job to motivate them tomorrow and if we qualify in the POs.

Townsend, Bartley, Kelly, Pieters, Phillips, Pipa, Weimann, Chalobah, M'Vila and Grant have no future at WBA.

Kipre and Mowatt may be offered new contracts and may well have been informed.

I just hope we can somehow get over the line.

In a must not lose game I don’t think the manager will be thinking about giving Maja minutes - that ship’s sailed for the season I’d say.
I think he'll be on the bench for either a last Hail Mary if we need it or the last 10 minutes if we have aced it

It's been a while for me, so does anyone know what time the players arrive on Halfords Lane? Going with the kids today and they wanted to get a glimpse of the players. Is it still about 1.5 hours before KO, or is it any different being a lunchtime game? Thank you
