Ishmael Miller declared bankrupt and then makes a very generous offer!

What do they spend their money on?

I think the problem is they get themselves tied into expensive deals with houses, bills, cars, credit cards etc when they're on top and then have an injury which means they never earn anywhere near what they expected to and can't afford the lifestyle anymore.

Wasn't Miller given a new contract from us when he was injured to basically set him up for life if he couldn't play again?  Very honourable of us if it was, but doesn't seem to have worked.

It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Lee Hughes appointed player manager of Halesowen Town until the end of the season.........

https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2019/03/06/former-west-brom-striker-lee-hughes-appointed-player-manager-of-halesowen-town/

I know Lee has made serious mistakes in his life, for which he has felt the full force of the law as a consequence and rightly so.

But there is another positive side to his character that I can voucher for in how helped me and and family member out during the most trying and difficult of times and for that kindness I will be eternally grateful to him and I wish him the very best of luck and every success in this new chapter in his life

Peter Odemwingie announced his retirement at a Wembley function with media,ex-players,managers and referees present.

Great servant to us and scored many great goals not to mention 5-1 at Wolves with a "Hat-trick"

All the best "Pistol Pete" I am sure you will pop up somewhere in a coaching role.

Odemwingie was the best striker we've had in the premier, he was fantastic that first season. Arguably the most two footed player i've ever seen play for us. Shame how it ended for him here but it seems like time has healed wounds and most fans are willing to forgive his leaving antics.

Time has been a great healer for me, I think I was only so upset at the time was because of just how good he was for us. Absolutely superb striker and I have to remember him as such.

Exactly my thoughts too!

At the time I was fuming with him with how he pushed for a move.

But hindsight is a wonderful thing and looking back now, he was brilliant for us. Probably the last striker (Lukaku excluded) that we have had that could literally make a goal from nothing.

Alex Bradley has confirmed he is leaving the club at the end of the season, the 20 year old has been at Havant and Waterlooville as well as Burton Albion this season. I would expect Burton to take him as he’s been quite successful in the past half a season, scoring his first professional goal on the final day.

Did they lose their play off game then?

Yes lost 2-1 to Alvechurch in the semi final, who themselves lost in the final.

Good news though as Bromsgrove Sporting secured their 3rd successive promotion.
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

Lost after surrendering home advantage after the Southern League/FA made a balls-up with the fixtures following an investigation into one of the other play-off teams.
