Are we really in a position to be turning our noses up at Martin?

A good manager, maybe a little strange some times and a bit of an ego, but the guy has a promotion on his CV, his Swansea side was good, his Southampton side played some cracking football.

The guy simply has to be in the discussion. What’s wrong with having some ego…like a bit sh‘housery some times on the sidelines.

We gotta stop being all nice and get some balls.

I ain’t fussed about him being a bit of ****, it’s one of them that you probably love it riling up opposition fans when he’s your manager.

I would just find it so frustrating watching us putting ourselves in trouble at the back instead of trying to move it quicker going forward.

Really hope it’s not Martin, awful football that I can’t stand. Taking stupid chances at the back etc and passing the ball to death in non-threatening positions.

To me, our appointment should be someone we think can take us up and hopefully give us a chance of staying up. Martin has proved because of the way he plays he has absolutely no chance of the latter.

I mean, this guy has got so many things wrong or tweets just after others. In this case he could just be following the bookies and adding “third unknown” as an insurance policy.

I believe this guy knows about medicals etc but I’m not so sure beyond that

He gets stick for some reason but the majority of the time he’s there or there about. Never really got the obsession with football fans trying to prove someone hasn’t got contacts or ‘in the know’.

Like some people hate the thoughts of others having an insight.

Cooper should have romped the league with his huge budget at Forest, not scraped them through the play offs. His record is poor and his football is dour. Not the answer.

He took over them when they were bottom of the league and had a team full of loan players

If he didn't manage us 17 years ago, there would have been uproar when we appointed him in January. Not done anything since leaving us in 2009 to justify managing a Championship team looking for promotion in my opinion.

Can’t see anything on the official site, anyone know the situation for going to watch the youth cup quarter final on Thursday?

Are they allowing spectators?

It does leave a bit of a ropey scenario in my opinion.

If Wildsmith carries on being pretty solid as I thought he was on Saturday, Griffiths is going to be on the bench for the remainder of the season when he would have been better staying at Rovers if that is the case.

If the plan is for Griffiths to be number one after a week or two of training sessions, there is going to be huge pressure on him if Wildsmith has been good in the few matches he will play. If Griffiths does make an error there will be calls for him to be dropped straight away.

As much as I don't it to happen, he could be two bad results from the sack in my opinion.

If he feels this himself then I think he would go. Anyone who believes players/managers love the club live in cloud cuckoo land.

According to Sky , the 3 goals at home in the first 7 games is the lowest total ever for any league .in the EFL

It’s the lowest number of goals in 7 home games in the history of English football

I go to Halesowen quite a lot, they get great crowds. Will probably go to the game away to Kidderminster in the FA Trophy in a couple of weeks, should be a decent yeltz following there

Cheers mate my lad won't go if he can't sit next to me though he's a bit young still, something will come up I suppose

I’m sure the person in between will be understanding and move one seat so you and your son can sit with each other

Just a quick one about the attendance today
Why couldnt Stoke give us more tickets they knew how many they sold to home supporters
The open spaces were there for all to see, we could have taken 4k in reality
Anyone know todays actual attendance

To be fair mate they only sold out Thursday, they were very slow selling

To be honest QPR is a rip off, I am happy we don't rip other fans off as at the end of the day they are the same as us; Just want to follow their team at affordable prices.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about how much other teams charge & I am glad that the club don't rip fans off just because the others do.

I have been told that if you email the club requesting the finance option then they will extend your deadline.

Brilliant mate, cheers for that

Always amazes me how picky some people can be about a football shirt.

It's blue and white stripes, not much you can really do with it to be honest.

As always, come September no one will mention the kit. Just something to moan about in pre season.

Not really the playa off atmosphere we’ve been used to over the past campaigns.

Brummie was atrocious, should have been well up for it but were dire.

I’m hoping we put a statement out like several teams have but I’m guessing with us having a chance of being there next season they won’t  :(
