Seems that way.

Chris Brunt has left Bristol City following his calf injury setback. Mutual agreement.

Sign him up!

Allerdyce could do worse than offer him chance to train with the team

What when he’s out injured for the rest of the season.
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

Badly worded, let him be around the team, we is WBA through and through, he has vast experience and might be a conduit for Allerdyce and the team, if needed

Surprised he didn't feature more for Bristol City really.

Wonder if he'll hang up his boots now, I would if I were him. Take some time out before deciding on next steps. Would be good if there was a coaching place for him at The Albion at some point in the future (as long as he's interested in that of course).

Yes, he got a fairly severe injury that meant he missed most of this half of the season. I can't remember if the loan was terminated - I think it was?

He's back in training for us now. Had his first session back since injury.

His loan was until a certain date in Jan, not season long. One of the papers today said hes back with us now. They could be wrong saying he's back now but he's due back this month regardless.

Would like to see him back at the club, but not in the first team squad. He just wouldn't cut it that this level.

Article in THe Athletic about 20 young English footballers to watch out for includes Louie Barry. Says he's a Villa fan signed from Barcelona, no mention of all the work we put in or the fact that the corrupt system means we get bugger all.

Thank you. Wonder if we will see him again. Another one that will be hard to shift on.

Agree that he will be hard to shift on. Hopefully Millwall (again)or another championship club will come in for him on loan until season's end and he will do well, enabling us to get something back on him in the Summer.
Shame Norway didn't qualify for Euro 2021 as he doesn't have the extra motivation that a chance to play in a major tournament might have given him.

I think you are right. Getting half the wages saved will be better than nowt. Him, Gibbs and Austin half gone will be best part of 100k per week.

Big Dave is potentially in the running for the Sheffield Wednesday job, has Doncaster in 4th of League One despite the club having no money. Only 6 points behind Appleton's Lincoln side and every chance of promotion.

Talking of Appleton, Darren Moore need only ask him what it's like to jump aboard a log raft heading for the rapids. He's made some very questionable career moves.

Sheffield Wednesday are a big club with huge potential but their owner appears something of a space cadet. Wide berth to be given while he's at the helm. Can't help but think DM's better off where he is for now.
