I'm not concerned about him long-term. Why not? Because I don't think Joe Wildsmith has a long-term future as our number one. Short to medium at a real push perhaps but definitely not long-term in my honest opinion.
I'm far more concerned about another fixture passing by with little evidence of the systems, structures or repeatable patterns of play in place to keep goals out at one end and increase our likelihood of scoring at the other.
Leeds and Burnley were great but otherwise performances have been largely meh. And before anyone posts the obvious one line counter about us lacking a consistent goal threat under our previous incumbent I couldn't care less because he's moved on and so should we.
I'm on about the here and now and the run in as without those repeatable patterns at either end we'll continue to be vulnerable at one end without carrying a sufficient threat at the other regardless of who's in goal.
I find myself agreeing, its really surprised me that we have stayed in the top 6 until now, this can only be attributed to others inconsistency.
My concern is that we will finally drop out at the most important time with no opportunity to recover. I have been surprised that TM hasn't galvanised the team and it seems has not settled on a team he trusts home and away.
i'm confused at some of the roles he is giving players currently, I simply do not get it, and I am a huge TM supporter. I love his attitude to football and his general demeanour.
