Portsmouth relegated then, feel sorry for Appleton - add the 10 points they were deducted and they would be safe.
I've got those West Bromwich Blues!

Porstmouth spent years falsely living it up in a Premiership place at the expense of clubs like ours, I can't say I feel too sorry for them to be honest.

I feel for some of their fans in a way, it's not their fault, but the club as a whole was living in a pretty plastic position for a long while.

I think people will understand that it was a bit of an impossible job he took on.  It would have taken a miracle to turn things around. I'm sure he'll be fine.  Best of luck to him.

Portsmouth deserved to have the points taken off them after years of overspending with dodgy owners. I just feel for the staff at the club who have or will end up losing their jobs as a result.

Leicester 1 up against West Ham. Beckford with the goal.

If West Ham don't win Southampton are promoted.

Kelvin Davis just made a brilliant save to keep Southampton level, looking a bit nervy at the start.

EDIT: Southampton take the lead, surprisingly not that much celebration from the fans. More a mild round of applause.

Do we have to use the offical sponsor name in the name thread? It really is only the championship after all we all know what that is.

Does it make a difference?

We all know what the thread is and what it's going to be used for. Let's just stick to it, whether the sponser is in there or not, it makes no difference to the thread.

Out of the 4 left I'd like to see Blackpool go up, I suspect that it will be West Ham though.

I've got a feeling it will be Cardiff this year after all those years of messing it up.

Fancy them to nick it against Blues in the final.
