Guys, I’m not sure if I’m breaking any forum rules here but I just watched this on YouTube and want to share it. Maybe others can also share classic match videos too.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Carabao Cup Round 3 - Crystal Palace (H)
« on: August 29, 2018, 12:58:46 PM »
When and where does the draw take place?
The Carabao Cup third round draw will take place on Thursday August 30.
It will be held at Sky Sports Studios in Isleworth, London.

What time does the draw take place?
The draw will take place after 7pm.

Obviously squad selection will depend on the drawn opposition but I would like to see Moore getting back to the first team but with a couple of fringe players who have a realistic chance of getting first team action.
Thoughts?

Also who do you fancy for next round? Who don't you want to face?

West Bromwich Albion FC / Cups
« on: January 29, 2017, 04:37:00 PM »
Guys,

Appreciate that this has been discussed before, however in light of the Wolves beating Liverpool yesterday and Sutton United beating Leeds today, what are your thoughts on league vs cup priorities?

From a financial perspective I do understand why survival in the premier league is so important. It's a money thing, which is how the game has been for a long time. I get that but it doesn't mean that I have to like it.

The reality is that each season we are playing for somewhere between 8th and relegation. Fine.

Now that we are established in the league I would love for us to sacrifice a few league positions in order to compete in both cups. Prioritise them. Give the fans something to strive for! Other premier clubs rest their best players... I'd rather see us SAVE our best for those cup competitions. Both of them.

I've already posted up a thread regarding atmosphere. I understand that as the football has improved recently, so has the atmosphere.

Imagine what it would be like if we could at least make the semis of a cup competition?

Comments welcome....

West Bromwich Albion FC / Attendance
« on: August 20, 2016, 06:33:36 PM »
23,654 was the official figure and I can't remember the stadium ever looking so threadbare, certainly for an opening game of a premier league season.

I confess that I didn't go. I thought about going. I even pulled on my baggies shirt and got into my car. I sat there on my drive, contemplating whether to do it or not.

My heart telling me that I might see some good football and a win.... My head suggesting that I'll end up spending the best part of £100 for the privilege of being bored, disappointed and then ultimately angry whilst sat in traffic listening to other fans bitching and moaning on radio WM.

Thankfully, this time, my head won.

But my question is this... What can we do to get more people to the ground?

Granted, there is very little that we can do that would affect the style of football but what about improving the atmosphere in the ground. Surely if the overall experience is better then more would go?

Standing sections?
Singing sections?
Song sheets being handed out?
Live band?
Half time Elvis impersonator?!?

I just feel that we need to inject some entertainment ourselves. Thoughts & ideas?

I've just booked my flight to Poland (yes I know it was stupid) and was just wandering whether I was likely to see any other West Brom shirts out there?  :)
