Olsson is having a 'mare tonight.  He is all over the place.  Even balls in the air he is struggling with.

If anything I feel we're playing too deep. The problem is, YM is banned so what other options are there? I think he has done the right thing with starting Berahino. We are giving it a good go to be fair, some of the tackles are flying in.

Morrison should be nowhere near this team, Brunt started the match behind Long which is baffling, Saido needs to be switched uptop as Brunt hasnt the legs at all and his getting caught upfield too much, I would love to know what the gameplan was beforehand.

Well, drawing with Villa, losing to Newcastle and god knows how many we're going to concede tonight, a relegation dog fight beckons. After 5 years of progress we just get booted back down to this level. What a waste of time.

We've looked better towards the end of the half.  We've upped the tempo and had more of the play.

Morrison and Amalfitano and particularly Yacob have got a bit more of a foothold in the game.

If, somehow, we could get the next goal Man City could cave in.  The don't look that convincing at the back.

Ollson and Macauley look like donkeys against these.

But at least we're playing with a bit of width which was missing from the Newcastle game.

Long is out of his depth.

But as far as the season so far goes, I'm not too concerned. Man City are an excellent side and we won't come up against players of this quality every week.

City's movement off the ball is fantastic they all look for space knowing the ball will find them. That's what the BIG BUCKS GET YOU.

As the game has worn on the midfield has looked better, and we have looked like creating chances. I really hope we can have a good second half have a goal and take some confidence into Saturday.

Saido is the only one to have a shot, Longs doing nothing so id take him off and rest him for norwich, Need two uptop as Kompany has been out for a couple of months so need to actually test him. The team looked disjointed whether thats the gameplan failing or the personal not doing what there supposed too.

This game isn't beyond us, we've come back from 0-2 down at old Trafford. Next goal is obviously crucial, that and how the teams react to it.

So is Brunt behind Long? Where's moz playing? I'm confused to the formation

Brunt is having a decent game as is Yacob. That's about it. Back four very poor for a change though neither Reid nor Ridgewell is getting any protection. Berahino needs to go up front. Less said about our Shane the better.

There's no "may as wells" as far as I'm concerned we do everything we can to be the better team in the 2nd half, not experiment. We may as well bring on the best options

Penalty claim on Long there.  I think he went down far too easily there.

We keep banging on about ONE win six odd weeks ago and a draw in August. We're in December for Christs sake and we've a piddly fifteen point when we had nearly double this last year.

Fair point but what happened the following 4/5 months? Early points doesn't equal a high finish.

Subs coming up:

Long/Morrison off
Anichebe/Gera on.

To be fair, Man City look quality. As a team they have made less wayward passes than Olsson on his own.

Yes and no evidence the second half of this season will be any better. I do not believe we will be relegated but we'll get nowhere near the 49 of last year.

Hate watching us lose..players must feel c**p too...the fact that saturday is a must win this early in the season says alot about the confidence at the moment...
