We would remain rooted to the bottom with Southampton and Swansea having a game in hand.

With the game in hand being the one against each other right?

Yes it seems we have sent a block back as originally Albion were saying we had block L7K but Newcastle now selling them.

Morning chaps,

Don't know if you watched the awful game on Monday but it was soporific at best so I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. Big Sam will Big Sam a team of extremely talented footballers into a squad of cloggers tout de suite.

If we are as off our game against you as we were against Everton we may come unstuck. I think it was a bit of complacency on our part, thinking our recent form was a excuse to lose focus.

I don't think there are any injuries to our lads but I wouldn't be surprised if we rotated a bit. Maybe rest a couple? If not we'll line up like;

Dubravka
Yedlin Lascelles Lejeune Dummett
Shelvey Diame
Ritchie Perez Kenedy
Slimani

If we do rotate, Mbemba or Clark may get a run out, Merino might be in the centre, Murphy might start on the right? Slimani, Dubravka and Kenedy will all definitely start though.

I think we'll show up for this one, but if you play as well against us as you did against much, much better sides, you have a decent shout of getting at least a point.

If you'd like any travel/parking/food/pub advice, let me know.

I don't know what we'd do if we did stay up in all honesty. I am assuming that all plans and discussions behind the scenes are geared toward us being in the Championship so it would be a serious spanner in the works.

I think we will draw this game and it will be confirmed.

Must be about time for Sturridge and Chadli to be declared fully fit. Cutting it a bit fine for their world cup aspirations otherwise.

Can't find anything related to the actual offence other than the rather vague "misconduct", but he is back refereeing and has been moved up to select group 1 to ref in the premier league so maybe he was not guilty of anything?

We have no choice but win, it must be an exciting game.
St. James Park is a difficult place to go but I hope we can win this and keep the little dream alive.

If any of you are going for the match only, don't bother parking in the centre. Park at the Metro Centre and get the SoccerBus (or whatever it's called now) for a quid or so. Means you're straight back on the M1 without the hassle of getting out of Newcastle on a matchday.

If you're getting the train there's plenty of pubs nearby for the away fans. The Union Rooms and the Mile Castle are two massive pubs staggering distance from the Central Station.

Tyneside Irish Centre for me Fish ... cheap ale and probably the only supporters in the Premiership who know anything about football beyond their own team. Will miss my annual jaunt up there ... love the city and banter with proper supporters!

I've said before Fish, have a real soft spot for Newcastle and I'll be following their progress keenly next season. All that said I wish for a Baggies win today, just so much want to finish above Stoke!!

Well I’ve got good omens today lads. My 8 year old played this morning against disabled kids and it was lovely to watch our side let them get into the game and score goals. It gave you a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

And to top it off in the NRL my Cronulla Sharks have got up against the Titans 10-9 in a game that was marred by terrible rain.

So I’ve had a good day today, so all I see is a Baggies win! :)
