Oh dear, the are a trouble lot, long may it last  :D

There were more than a few chuckletastic comments on Viler Squawk too.

Not that I'm obsessed with them or anything  ;) .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

I had to smile about a previous poster who heard on WM from a Villa supporter saying that perhaps their manager wasn't big enough for them!
Who do they think they are?
They've been in the championship for years, they're failures they just don't get it do they.

Always annoying that lot but beginning to get Billy Big B again !
Need them putting back down in the box.

It's looking highly likely that we will meet them in the P/Os at some stage which could be epic or demoralising - who knows !

One thing's for certain, the ticketing arrangements will be fun !!!!!   :o

Problem is that going into the playoffs they are the inform team at the moment.
You need to hit the playoffs with momentum. They have that.
I just hope that they have peaked too early.

Its pretty obvious what is going to happen, they will beat us, meet whoever in the final and beat them too. Will be hard to take but we will have the joy of watching them tread water next year just trying to survive. That is my point really, we are in absolutely no shape to go up at the end of this season. I genuinely fear for us and the apparent mismanagement of our club at the moment.

Got a Villa fan at work who is getting more and more smug as the weeks go by.

They do seem to have hit form at the right time and if they continue, it would be hard to bet against them doing well in the play offs.

If they don't go up this season, you would imagine Jack Grealish will leave, with his current form and Southgate mentioning he needs to be playing in the Premier League, I would imagine he would be pushing for a move.

They would be in a similar position to us in the summer if they don't go up, with loan players like Abraham etc and the older players like Jedinak, Whelan, Hutton etc all coming to the end of their playing careers.

I bet they won't keep rewarding the old guard with new deals, the wages that clearing them out frees up helps massively in a rebuild of younger, hungry players instead of the old comfortable cliques

McGinn and Grealish would run rings around our likely midfield of Brunt and Livermore. It would be embarrassing.

We need one of them, preferably both to get injured. Abraham is injured so that's one down hopefully.

Abraham is always 'injured'. He is not the toughest apparently. Expect him to be playing. Don't get your hopes up sadly ...

McGinn and Grealish are the ones we need to neutralise if we're to get through. Both are the best players in their position in the division imo.

Grealish is the best footballer in the division.

McGinn is average as evidenced by Villa’s shocking Winter results without Grealish.  McGinn played in Kazakhstan when the Scots got panned 4-0!

McGinn has scored some cracking long range goals, with Johnstone in his current state, if we do play them I'd be telling him to shoot on sight if I were Smith

Make no mistake about it, to win 10 games on the spin in any league is nothing short of incredible. I am just gutted they appointed Smith, should be in our dugout.

Smith would’ve been off the second the Villa post was vacant, getting him or not last summer wouldve been largely irrelevant with the power of hindsight as we’d have needed a new manager anyway.

To balance things out, look how average that Villa defence is - you have to fancy our fire power against them.

Maybe, but you don't know that, and he would have been under contract that the vile would have had to buy out, and they were not fantastically wealthy at the time....hindsight is a wonderful thing though.

We know all about Grealish and have kept him quite when we played them, hopefully the speculation around a big money move to crystal place may turn his head a little.. I think who ever gets home advantage will be the winner, however I fancy our chances hitting this lot on the counter at Villa Park.

They are , as usual very cocky and confident of the play offs. Going to be unbearable but great to beat them and then the ‘10 in a row’ will mean nothing
Whenever we are playing badly, just remember -
Paul Chrichton,Neil Parsley, Andy Mcdermott, Scott Darton, Winston White,Mark Angel, Fabian DeFreitas, Paul Williams......now, do you feel better?

Bets on now Smith will be gone by December.
