It's not the worst game so far, but not very exciting. Albion have had some nice passing moves and a few shots, but nothing major.

The most exciting thing for me is knowing that it was only back in May that I managed my Year 8 football team at the cup final at the New Bucks Head and now Anelka and Dorrans are running around on the same pitch!

It was the District Cup Final, they hold the final there every year. All the schools in the area play to get through to it and they have all Year finals.

not the most inspiring!! Had a few good spells of possession, looked ok at the back. We really need something creative going forward...

Pretty poor game in all honesty, but the kind of game that's not uncommon in pre season. Clear the players feeling training and matches a little which is understandable.

Only real worry for me was how stretched our squad looked. Clear we need 2 or 3 additions, but I imagine we will get them in eventually.

Not the best game overall, few players looked tired admittedly but no excuse for sloppiness. Goal came after Brunt and Ridgewell got suckered into the corner, Genoa player back-heeled to an unmarked teammate who crossed in and the end result was a goal. We had few half chances, best of which probably Dorrans shot which the keeper spilled but no-one followed up. Best player on the park for me was Kemar Roofe, had an excellent 60 mins or so before fading a bit. I'll keep banging on about it and boring people but Brunt is not a central midfielder, never will be.

Watched the game on the net.Better opposition and we looked ordinary.OK its a friendly but not encouraging for the new start with an inferior squad of players.Absoulute powderpuff up front
