Evening all. Long time no speak. I'm dreading Sunday. Up until four or five games ago thought we might be safe by Sunday and the derby could just be a derby. But no. We're playing without confidence with players out of position and seemingly unable to raise our game to take advantage of numerous opportunities presented to us. I can't see us winning this vitally important and highly pressurised game.

I reckon you might just scrape out of it, but if you are you will more than likely need to take something from us, something which at the moment looks rather bleak. Saw you the last two games and you've being woeful, especially defensively.

I know. Shocking at the moment.

And the fact we have a striker brimming with confidence surely can't help.

I can see Pete grabbing a goal/assist or two.

If Pete doesn't score, I'd be very shocked. I know they'll be up for it and all that I just can't see Craddock/Mancienne and Stearman being able to stop him the way he's playing.

There back four reminds me of ours too years ago. I'll be amazed if those three defenders are all still there next season.

I still want the Wolves to go down.I love seeing big men shed tears.

Just looked on the Sunderland web site.It would appear most of their fans are happy to give certain players a rest :o

A lot of the Sunderland players are out injured, so if they do give some certain players a rest they will be playing a team full of kids.

I think the Dings will get beat today.

They are rubbish, make no mistake. They tonked us and fair play. But you cannot overestimate the rubbishness of us last Sunday. We handed them 3 points on a plate. Still think they'll go down, they deserve to! And if they don't then fine as I really think they will be down the bottom again next season.

With Blackpool winning today and if Wigan win tommorow, Blackburn might need to get a result at Wolves. It is so tight at the bottom.

I feel Wigan are the only ones who can send them down. Need them to beat West Ham tomorrow.

I think Wolves are all but safe now. Above Blues and Blackpool on 40 points and with a game against Blackburn to come up.

Our game saved them and they now have a third season of premier league football to look forward to (nearly established). Putting the region on the map having so many sides there which is a positive but I would have proffered them to go down just to allow us to build easier.

Not so sure tbh. This kind of competition can be very healthy. And we tend to not go for the same type of players, there the Fulham's and Sundeland's are more annoying.

If Wigan win against W.Ham, it's all back in the melting pot . Blackburn and Wolves will not be able to  afford a draw. Wigan play Stoke last match!!

Yep, Stoke may well have a huge reaction to the FA cup.  If Wigan win their last two games one of Wolves, Blackburn or Birmingham will go down instead of them.  Of course if West Ham wins it looks certain to be Blackpool, Wigan and West Ham that go down. West Ham are down now more or less certainly.
