So that leave us with Grant, Deeney, Austin and another as yet unidentified striker. We play with on Centre Forward we don't need 4 if the other as yet identified striker is to make up for the many shortcomings of Austin and or Deeney maybe we just don't lumber ourselves with the latter.
Well i'm making the assumption that Grant may start from the left in a 433.
In an ideal world we don't sign Deeney, get rid of HRK & Zohore and then sign the unamed, unknown forward and then the 3 striker options will be Grant, newbie and Austin as 3rd choice which i don't think is that bad. Throw Robinson in the mix and it looks healthier.
If by a miracle we get Diangana then Robinson & Grant as interchange left/CF options plus Austin would be enough.
I'm spitballing a bit and trying to find light in what we're doing/not doing.
