Just noticed they are playing in the FA Cup on Monday between our game with them next Friday.

Hopefully Maidstone take them to ET or kick some of their players out of a game.

Sakamoto got a horrible injury against Preston, rumoured fractured pelvis. Probably been their most dangerous player besides O'Hare. They're a good side but don't worry me in the way Hull did, think we go in as favourites especially with the 2 days extra rest.

At home there's no need to fear anyone in this division, it's away that normally worries me. That does seem to be turning though based on last 2 games

They got thumped at home just like Southampton did. Hopefully they won't take revenge as did southampton.

with our improving away results of late and decent home form i fully expect a win here. last home game we gave the opposition far too much respect, lets hope we have learnt from that. 2-0

Genuinely thought your more usual 'Mr Negative' thought processes would somehow lead you to a losing prediction at home given the recent returns away. Current status; bamboozled  ;D .

Very big game this, a win here and that gap to 7th could be looking good

5th to 10th in the league are all playing each other.  Sunderland probably need to beat Norwich or they are out of it.

If we win, and Sunderland get anything against Norwich, its a minimum 6 point gap to 7th unless Preston beat Hull (4 points if they do and its not the worst thing in the world for Hull to lose).

That’s horrible for Sakamoto, I hadn’t seen that. Poor lad.
Whenever things look bad, remember the Port Vale, Grimsby and Walsall days... not so bad now, eh?!

Huge game. We haven't really been good enough in these games against the teams we're competing with for the play offs in terms of getting over the lines with wins recently. A draw isn't a bad result in the grand scheme of things, although with Hull and Norwich in top form we'll need to be keeping up the regular wins. The upsides of a win would be massive though, and go a long way to a fatal blow to Coventry's hopes.

Just saw an article on West Brom News where it was suggested that CC drop Grady for this game because he only won 27% of his challenges against Hull?  It is probably a fluff piece but is there any credence to it?  I think we all know that Grady has had more off games than on, but should he be dropped?

No idea about that stat but I think Grady would admit he didn't have the greatest influence on the game. He tried but looked a little lost and was often closed down very quickly along with Mowatt.

While several decisions could have gone his way they didn't. As the game progressed he appeared visibly more disheartened unlike Mowatt who kept plugging away. Not a performance for his personal scrapbook.

As for West Brom News I tend to avoid links to it like the plague. Click bait central. That said it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone if Grady finds himself on the bench come Friday.

I think Grady himself if he were to answer honestly would admit that he has done very little to merit starting any time soon. He has been such a disappointment

Im a fan as I know he can play. However, we cannot keep saying that and, based on recent displays, I wouldn't start him. Swift has been poor since his injury but, of the 2, he would start every time for me. My main worries are up front. I know we have a great squad but there is a real lack of strikers in it currently.

West Brom News is not worth reading 95%plus of the time.  Feels like a bunch of interns / students regurgitating squit.

Ref Grady, he could not be disappointed if dropped,

Reffed six Championship games so far this season. One of which was Rotherham 2 v 0 Coventry. I'd settle for a repeat of the same home scoreline  8) .
