Out of the list of contenders it would be Wagner for me. I'd love Gary Monk but that's not realistic.

might just be me, but whose RB in that? Phillips?Think it could be Field at RB ?
So are guys like Chadli, J Rod and Rondon available for selection on Saturday?I think the team selection will reflect the probability of any of these three leaving. If he knows the likelihood either way we will see it in the lineup. I just hope he has a strong sense of what is on the cards as going to the wire of the transfer window is the worst situation for us. I would like to see Jay Rod, Dawson, Rondon then Chadli retained in that order, with at least 2 of the 4 being kept crucial to us having a chance of promotion.
If so does Big Dave pick them?
Have to say I would be a little disappointed at that.Me too but when you look at the squad and the probable outs of some of our remaining best players 11th seems about right,
Xmas is gone and time to put the booze away nowYou keep Devon talking while I phone the police.
It's a good appointment. Boro are floundering and Pulis will give them a much needed sense of direction.Would Albion fans prefer him to bring Midlesbro up at the expense of the Villa and if we by some miracle stay up play against his team next season?
As with previous appointments the favourite never seems to land the job. Watch this space for a sudden change in direction. Albion are never predictableSo Ryan Giggs or Neil Lennon then?
Sums up wonderfully why I hope it's not Pardew rocking up hereSo other than mother teresa who would you like to see keep the Albion up playing more attacking football?
Although Pardew's win percentage is generally reasonable in the top flight, what worries me about him is reading things like:Most managers are disliked prior to being sacked. It usually follows a run of poor results, just like Pulis. Even long term managers can hear the 'out' chants at some point.Clubs like ours either lose their managers through poor results or by being poached by the big boys if they are doing well, that life.
West Ham: "Pardew was criticised after seeing West Ham through their worst run of defeats in over 70 years"
Charlton: "Hundreds of supporters remained for more than an hour to condemn their manager, chanting 'we want Pardew out'"
Sothampton: "Pardew was dismissed by the club amidst reports of low staff morale"
Newcastle: "This was arguably the worst personal abuse a Newcastle manager has had to endure at any game...some fans created a website Sackpardew.com....printing of 30,000 A4 sheets calling for his dismissal"
Palace: "Pardew was sacked as manager on 22 December 2016; Palace had won only 6 matches of 36 played in 2016"
Looking at the above, you have to wonder what he's learned during his career, as it seems to be a case of rinse and repeat in almost every job he's had. Pulis was hopelessly entrenched in his ways and I'm concerned that we'll just switch to someone else who's equally inflexible.
Worst of all was the headbutting incident with Hull's David Meyler. In case anyone doesn't recall it, here it is:

One thing you don't seem to get with Pardew is stability in any sense of the word....
I’m behind the idea of Pardew after doing some research. He’s definitely a dick but him win % is good, 12% better than Pulis’ and plays more eye-pleasing football. He will embarrass us at times.Better that he embarases us than the football we play.
Jacko2000 - you said you ALSO heard he’s joining before the weekend, what was this in addition to as I think I’ve missed something.
Negative of this, come 2020 we’ll probably be looking for a new manager.
