Can't see Lampard wanting him to go to Leeds after his run-ins with Bielsa

Lampard isn't in charge of where the youngsters go on loan though. There's usually somebody in the development system who would take care of that.

Whilst true, if Lampard knocked on that individuals door and said "don't send anyone to Leeds, that Beilsa is a right *******" I can't see the Loan Manager not listening, can you?

I don't know too much about the lad but we desperately need midfield reinforcements. Beyond Sawyers and Livermore we have very little quality.

I think we could do with Conor and Krov at a minimum although i suspect that still leaves us without a genuine ball winning midfield player.
For me Conor and Krov would be the first choice pairing .

Don't they know there's a pandemic meaning they need to rein their budget in?
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

There's nothing online, but 79 has historically been fairly well informed on these things. Good news.

I would imagine he will play alongside them. Providing we set up in a 433

I haven't seen too much of this guy, but does anyone know if he can carry the ball forward. I thought that was sorely missing today. The midfielders we have all want to pass the way through, but sometimes you need someone, perfect example Barnes,  who can drive forward with the ball. Clearly you need to be fit with high energy levels to go on runs. Just wonder if Gallagher would be more of the same.

It will be a loan.

Don’t think we would have the funds to buy - even if Chelsea were interested in selling

Alan Smith from football.london has reported that Gallagher has now signed a new contract and that he will be coming to us as we have "won the race" (Villa and Leeds mentioned as being 2 of the other 4 sides who expressed an interest).

On the back of football.london, a few other outlets (including the guardian) also now reporting Gallagher to us should be done tomorrow or Wednesday.
