We look scared when teams drive at us with a fast counter attack. Start to go ultra defensive and can't get out of our half. This then spurs them on as the know we can't break - even if we do, we slow it down most of the time.

We need to put doubts into their heads if we want to do well in the playoffs.

No club can afford relegation from the top league as it's a financial timebomb. Reckon they will be looking at an experienced man short term at least. Fans may want Carlos but the club will want a guaranteed safe pair of hands.

One year we will take this competition seriously from the 3rd round. Don't know when that day will be...but one day.

Hopefully at the first bong of Big Ben on 1st Jan, we can all raise a glass to happier times if we can't get rid before that time....unless we can make West Bromwich part of Tonga and be able to sack him at 11am on New Year's Eve.

8 points outside the playoffs. Any kind of consistency from anyone puts them on the front foot - or a team that doesn't concede that many. So wide open this season - no real Fulham dominating type teams - everyone seems to be equally poor.

I miss the good old days of an after match protest in the ground and then down the Halfords Lane to get a management change.

Any team who lose three games on the trot will have some fans turning on the manager. Owners expect instant success and going down is too much money to lose. Cooper might make it till Xmas. They look naive in defence even with Henderson in goal.

We have no-one at the club - players or board - bar a few young players, who have West Brom in their heart. Its just a job. A very well paid job. Im not looking for fake badge kissers but how many would run through a brick wall (and not get injured in the process) for the club.

What's in front of him doesn't help. So many chances created by the central defenders not doing the simple stuff. From a manager who was a robust no nonsense central defender.

Proud of both sets of fans for the respect shown. Didn't expect anything less from us or blues.

So what are we hoping for on Saturday? Hate it when the tide turns against a manager but after last night it's only going one way.

We needed experience alongside Dara to steady the ship. Leadership qualities you would think a given as an ex captain. Showed neither last night - and for a while now.

Minutes silence perfectly observed at the rugby game I'm watching.

Some "football fans", which we can all guess who, just could not be trusted and sadly proud of their actions. An example look at Shamrock Rovers last Thursday.

I feel sorry for the local press and media. I can hark back to the days when the best up to date news was flicking over the paper to the backpage in the newsagents and it was pretty accurate. The clubs needed the local papers and radio and visa versa. They aren't needed anymore by the clubs. When was the last time they broke a major transfer or story outside the Percy's of the world?  Clubs, agents, players, pr teams all control the flow of accurate information and how it is distributed let alone anybody with a Twitter account and that does not help the local media at all.

But, fingers crossed Dike is fit and can bang some in tonight.

If we left him outside the East Stand, the rag and bone wouldn't even pick him up.

Where does he stand in the club? Potential first team on the bench at some point this season, stay in the u23’s or out on loan to test himself against professional players?

If Oli Burke can keep on getting clubs to play for then Ken will  get clubs as well next summer on a free. For some reason, managers always think they can "unlease the potential". Rarely happens - we can testify that with some of our donkeys.

Would it be cheeky to see if Chelsea will loan him out? I'm sure they would just to give him experience. Also the thought of the seals faces would be something to relish.

Noticed that at times he was being pulled from the left back Position to provide cover in the centre when Boro pushed forward. This left space and left him two on one with noone covering runs. That got sorted at half time but too many low crosses coming in from both sides.

Had hoped at the end of last season that this new one would excite me in regards to staff and tactics. Finding it hard to get excited with some names in the starting 11 that I hoped would not feature. More than happy to be proven totally incorrect by 5pm.

Its lucky we aren't interested in Ronaldo at 37. This forum would go mad. But then we would probably end up with the fat Brazilian striker - who would still be getter than Zohore.

Feel for the local press. The days of checking the back pages for exclusives is long gone with the club now handling the media in-house with information dribbling out when it wants. Even the agents use twitter to leak their clients - quicker, more reach and in control of whats written.

So the Dingles have rejected £20 million plus add ons for Morgan Gibbs White. They want £30 million.

This is a player who never made the grade in the prem and had a decent, not exceptional, one in the Championship.

Absolute madness in financial terms. Are clubs just plain stupid because I've got some magic beans for sale - they arent really magic but shhhhhhhh.
