This is a very ‘un Albion like’ signing, clearly they have learnt that grubbing around in the bargain bucket is not going to deliver the goods. I hope the board have one or two surprises up their sleeve, but what a great Christmas present!

Really looking forward to seeing this lad.

Well, at least we have gone for it.  I would say Val has bet the house on this, totally his signing.  Let's pray he doesn't get injured.

I hope this will bring out the best in Robinson and Grant - and  maybe even Diangana.

That's always a problem if we become a one man team.  The opposition will know who to double team and rough up  (he looks a bit of a unit though).  Time for the others to step up to his example.

That's why I think we may need to hold on to Hugill

Fantastic news and very well done to all concerned for making it happen. Although I don’t know that much about him, I do know that he is already way better than any other centre forward option that we have. Only 21 and signed permanently on day one of the window… fantastic stuff.

I know it’s the wrong way to look at it but this could be a signing that we are selling for 75m+ if he realises the potential.

I think it’s an epic signing and I’m praying he does what he does best.

Might take him a season or 2 of playing regularly to really start to see the potential in him though

At least it’s proper No.9….I’m excited

Happy to see that we land our main target quickly.
Hope he could bolster the front line.

Reaching for the tippex after realising you’ve been signed to play rushback.

Kipre is the only one with the bravery/vision to play a forward pass it seems

You’re right he did. Seemed we were relying on Kipre to carve open their defence with a 40 yard pass for most of the game though
