I'd love to see Diangana continue his recent improvement in form, really hoping he can kick on tonight and get on the score sheet. Can't see this one being 0 - 0......but I can see it being 3 - 3!!
I can’t see any of our games being 0-0. Our defence is our weak point - is this the game we get found out ? We need to hang in there until we get Clarke or O’Shea or both back fit.
Bartley & Ajayi are both uncomfortable with the high line.
Don’t expect the flowing football we had in the 2nd half against Cardiff - Stoke’s strongest area is their midfield. So don’t expect us to go through them, so imo we will go round them or over their midfield for Hugill to hold up. Or he may play Diangana, Robinson & Grant - interchanging positions, giving the Stoke defenders a nightmare trying to mark them?
Val knows what he wants - he has been the star so far. Can he keep the enthusiasm on a high?
