Looking forward to this. I live in Peterborough so it’s a short trip for me. I’ve been a few times to see Posh. The ground is ok. There’s 2 old stands. One is terracing behind the goal. They have given us one of the new stands behind the goal. I’ve always enjoyed going there and it’s what I would call a proper club. Unless it’s changed you could even pop out for a cigarette at half time! We should on paper win comfortably but both sides have a history of unpredictability! That said I’m going for 2-0 to us.

Team as expected, although surprised to see no Quevin Castro on the bench. A shame as well that Tulloch is injured given Robinson's absence. Zohore also misses out, I'd imagine that's it for him now.

4 academy kids on the bench including Taylor, Fellows and Gardner-Hickman. I'd expect to see the latter make an appearance later in the game.

Think that bench shows how weak our squad is. First XI as expected though.

No Kipre on bench?

Based on that squad are we saving Kipre and Zohore hoping to flog them in order to bring other new players?

Only just noticed the Kipre omission. Thought he played well first half vs Arsenal, could he be out with CoVID or an injury maybe?

I'm not after his performance the other night.

Val said it was a reminder to some people who think they know it all how far they have to go to reach the top level.

I've absolutely no doubt that was a little dig at Castro. He played for himself on Weds night and did nothing for the team.

I actually thought he was our best player overall against Arsenal, so it would be surprising if he's been bombed out.

I agree about Castro's performance and my first thought regarding Valerien's comment was that it was aimed at him first and foremost. As I've mentioned elsewhere, Castro needs to watch and learn from Molumby (and Mowatt of course). Until he learns to play for the team/system, I can't see him featuring unless we're desperate.

Given Ismael’s penchant for changing the entire front three, we might see fellows make his league debut if we have a comfortable lead.

I would expect Phillips to do 60mins and then if we are winning, Snoddy or Hugill given some game time.

This could be the game that will supercharge Grady Diangana and see him getting back to his form in the Championship in our last visit to this league. 🙏

I don't think he has done it so far with us has he? I know he usually does elsewhere but from what I can remember, he has either gone with 2 subs, or opted for defensive changes.

Hugill, maybe Gardner-Hickman and Reach feels more likely. Snodgrass could be the other.

We can only hope so.

Seems like his footballing soul was left at St.Andrew’s circa December 2019.

We've got no calmness or vision in possession. When it's reduced to that, it turns the game into a giant pinball machine where we're left hoping for a lucky break or something from set piece.

We seem to be looking a bit sluggish so far and the pressing is rather half-hearted, but there's no quality in our passing at all.

Grant should have done better with that pull-back from Townsend.

Doesn’t look like we’ll score a hatful tonight.
Passing is poor in the final third.
