Didn't Ismael say something along the lines that 4-3-3 is his second favoured formation after 3-4-3 in one of his first interviews? I don't remember his LASK side playing anything other than the latter though.

                               Johnstone

 Furlong           Ajayi            Bartley           Townsend

           Molumby        Mowatt          Snodgrass
                                                    (Livermore after ~60)

           Phillips            Robinson            Grant
       (Diangana after ~60)

Maybe Hugill late on for Robinson or Phillips.  Molumby to be nimble enough to protect against overlaps from Antonee Robinson

I gave it to Molumby. Just edged out Snodgrass and Furlong.

I went for Kyle in the end just to **** Dan off  :P

TBH I thought he was pretty imperious, admittedly against some very mediocre opposition though

I would go with the below. Snodgrass is a player to be used sparingly in games where we anticipate having more of the ball. Mowatt and Molumby in the middle to get after them.

Johnstone

Ajayi
Bartley
Clark

Furlong
Mowatt
Molumby
Townsend

Phillips
Hugill
Grant

I’d be very surprised to see us change the formulation, even though we haven’t won any of the games so far that I see as being closest to the challenge Fulham pose (Bournmouth, Stoke, Swansea).

Tough one to predict, as both teams are capable of a mare.

I think VI will stick to his 3-5-3 formation which the players know and understand. I am tempted to play a physical No.9 like Hugill, because Fulham have some very physical defenders, but I just think Robinson offers more in link up play. I think Snodgrass deserves a start, so him and Mowatt would provide quality passes from midfield.

                                       Johnstone
                    Ajayi             Bartley           Clarke
Furlong              Snodgrass          Mowatt             Townsend

             Phillips                 Robinson             Grant
I'd back us with a 3-5-3, provided we didn't get one sent off.  :D

I think he goes for the same 11 that played against Bristol, understand Fulham is another step up but that Bristol performance was our best since Sheffield United which was back in August.
