Whenever a fan of any club prefaces a statement with the phrase "We are a massive club" you know what is about to follow is entitled whining BS and this was a great example.

ha ha love it - didn't they win the European cup before?????

I love the reaction when he suggests Poch. Very funny, really like Cundy and that guy that stands in for Goldstein.

I presume Terry would be more responsible for defending at corners and set-pieces. Any time Leicester had one; even before the first goal; was absolute carnage. Could have easily scored twice before they did.

Neil Cutler is on their coaching staff. Whilst assisting Darren Moore during our relegation following Pardew's long overdue sacking he was in charge of set piece plays. It would be interesting to see whether he or either of the former centre halfs on the Vile's coaching staff were responsible for set play coaching. Who knows, perhaps they all have a hand? Too many cooks making the broth deliciously unpalatable for the Vilers? Couldn't really care less either way, long may it continue. SOTV  8) .

They’ve got experienced defensive coaches ,so that means the players either don’t understand the instructions on the training field or as I suspect they are just not good enough even with mings

Yes, Mings is a big athletic unit, but that doesn't mean he has a brain, does it?

He may well hold a PhD, but somehow i doubt it

.........Mings is a big athletic unit........

Funnily enough for a big athletic unit, he isn't a natural centre half. He started out as a left back. Explains a lot about his positional sense (or lack of) in the centre half role. Long may it continue.

I've always rated him at CB and think he's their best player after Grealish. Personally I think you could put Maldini and Canavarro in a Dean Smith back 4 and they'd look woeful, from what I've seen of Mings he's genuinely a good player and will probably get a big move in the summer.

No way, Engels is woeful, Reina is past it and Trezeguet is ok but Mings is better. McGinn is debatable and I said Grealish is better already.

Mings is average at best. Engels is no better.

Grealish and McGinn are Villa's two best players by some distance.

All about opinions
I think you’d have some interesting results if it were to be contested in
Mings or Bartley ?
Engels or Bartley ?

Personally I’d be
Engels
Bartley
Then mings.....but each to their own

I'm not sure about Mings just yet, as I think he has a few mistakes in him, I'm pleased to say.

But I suspect, as he matures, he will become a decent player. But I think at £20,000,000 (was it?) he was a tad expensive.

He is 27 this is peak Mings now, personally I quite like him I like him more as a Left Back. He has had an injury interrupted career and I can only be a little sceptical about the price Villa paid.

Mings is dreadful. Better than Bartley but not our other 2.

My post though is about Smith, a nothing manager who benefited from Brentford's recruitment system before Grealish returned from injury to save him from a Championship relegation battle at the biggest club to be in the 2nd tier for approx 40 years, and Jack somehow got him promoted. Is it any wonder he's well out of his depth despite a £130 million spend and Grealish becoming just another above average player in that division?

And that's just the money from the summer window, don't forget January.

If Corona keeps villa up, that would mean that a virus is more successful than Dean Smith

Just been on Vile Talk

They are surpassing themselves now, Gentlemen I give you this gem ! :o :o :o

We need Diego Simeone as manager with Beckham as assistant manager.

I have no doubt they would get the team kicking.
