Truly legendary moments in mine and my old mans lifetime/memory
1) Ronnie Allens penalty against PortVale at Villa Park in the 54 semi, we were rubbish but managed to skank a 2 - 1 win.
2) The 54 Final obviously.
3) Another Allen penalty this time against Villa that sent them down, classic.
4) The 66 league cup 2nd leg at The Hawthorns where we ripped West Ham and there England contingent to bits inside 45 minutes, it was all over.
5) 68 3 game affair with Liverpool, being outnumbered about 4 to 1 at Maine Road in the decider but we won
6) The first minute of extra time at Wembley in 68, Astles shot and the rest is History.
7) Getting relegated under Howe, the start of a long road back.
8 ) Giles.......enough said.
9) Oldham, never seen so many fans on the motorway heading north. We swamped the place.
10) 5 - 3 at Old Trafford
11) Valencia in the Uefa cup
12) The play-off semi ( home leg ), never seen the Hawthorns rock, you could actually feel the Brummie stand bouncing under your feet.
13) The one sided play-off final. Even Burkinshaw said he'd never seen such one way support at Wembley for a final.
14) The first promotion under Megson including Bradford and then the last day beating the Dingles to it ( and they even blew it bigtime in the playoffs )
I profusely apologise if I've missed out anything, but theres some memories in there that will live with me to my dieing day.
