They will be "smarting" after the 4 goal defeat at Portsmouth. They will want to make amends.

Got away with resting players and hopefully Mowatt and Holgate back to increase squad depth.

I'm at work for this one so will miss it completely but COYB!

We are so overdue giving Swansea a beating on their own patch.

Our record there is shocking. The last nine games are W1 D1 L7. That's appalling given this is Swansea, not Liverpool or Man City.

Some of the worst performances I've EVER seen us give away from home - all the way from Ron Wylie to Roy Hodgson - have been at Swansea. Old ground or new.

Considering Swansea haven't ever been world beaters our performances there have been abysmal. Whatever the result I hope we do ourselves some sort of justice - we have gifted Swansea far too many very easy afternoons over the years.

And I hope we don't use tiredness as an excuse. Let's get out there and give a display in south Wales for once.

Ref: Sam Allison
1st Ass: Hugh Gilroy
2nd Ass: Carl Fitch- Jackson
4th Off: Sunny Singh Gill

Reffed our 0-0 with Leeds in August.
The ref was the the 4th official today vs Preston, isn’t that a bit weird?

I was going to say this. Last season's performance at the Liberty was dire as well. Some places are just cursed it seems. I'll take a point.

I've seen us win in Swansea on three occasions. I'm not going on Saturday but my lad is. He's never seen us win away to Swansea so it's about time the little Jonah did. Here's hoping (yes,  I'm aware of what hope does  :-X ) .

Horrible place to travel to. My two visits to The Vetch were for a dire Friday night 0-0 in early 90s, where i flew back from Northern Ireland, taxi to the Albion to get coach, then on way back dropped off at Junction 4 M5 to walk back into South Brum, horrid day. Prior to that there was a mid 80s 3-2 cup defeat, dreadful game, but great day out on the train and very lively!
Now in Islamabad, Pakistan

Other than wheelchair bays there are nineteen seats remaining for this fixture. Given distance, kickoff time, forecasted weather conditions and the fact we're looking for a new boss that's dedication. Well done those planning to be in attendance. COYB  8) .

Superb effort , well done all. Best result for me there a 0-0 under Slaven (last game before Covid) other than that zilch.
Good news is I ay gooin.

I'm working on Saturday so can't attend but I can listen to the match so got an audio pass for it!

Haven't seen us win at Swansea since the 2-1 under Mel (missed the win under Moore).

Hope fully we put on a performance like 1st half against Preston.

Will be interesting to hear how their fans react to Williams.

Yes, I'd forgotten about that. Awful decision, where common sense went out of the window. The reaction of Russell Martin had a lot to do with it too.

Turns out there's a block still on sale in the middle of the stand which didn't show up on the seating plan earlier this morning. Probably closer to 170 remaining (couldn't be doing with counting the lot) but it's still a decent turn out in the circumstances.

Could be a bit of a weird vibe to this as it's clear Williams was begging for us to sign him and it fell through. Hopefully it plays into our hands.

Williams' pre match comments about what may or may not have happened regarding an approach from us are as cringeworthy as his comments not distancing himself from a move to us in the first place.

The bloke is shameless plastic personified. Watching him melt in front of a fiery reaction from the home support should we fly out the blocks with a couple of early goals would be a joy to behold.

It may even help keep the travelling support warm for their troubles following an early start to a chilly day in south Wales before heading home triumphant. COYB and make it happen  8) .

Williams.

....I'm slightly embarrassed to share his surname right now.
