1-0 spurs in the 100th minute.

Shame because the Tamworth players and fans deserved a replay at that lovely new ground of Spurs. Money would have been great for club too from replay.
It really is a shame, that money would be huge for Tamworth. Odds really stacked against lower league teams.

Tamworth holding Spurs to 0-0 so far, 33 mins gone.
Still 0-0 and they're gone to extra time 🤯

He has now.
It's hard to believe he lasted this long. He surely won't get another job after this.

Think he has been vital to how we play this season. We struggle when he is not in the team. The only out of contract player that I feel we should retain. He is still improving

100% agree with this. I'd say opposition players hate playing against him as he's such a relentless pain in their backside for the whole game. Anyone know how many yellows is he on? Must be close to 5. Does it go to 10 yellows for a ban after 22 games?

I found the following on EFL.com. Jan to early March fixtures should have been announced a week ago,  it does my head in when organisations publish details of what they will do and then don't bother following through.

The notice periods for selections are as follows:

Within seven days of the 2024/25 Fixture Release selections shall be made in respect of all matches to be played before the end of September.
Before the start of the season, selections shall be made in respect of all matches scheduled to be played prior to the end of the third round of the FA Cup (January 2024).
By November 1, selections shall be made in respect of all matches to be played between the end of the third round proper of the FA Cup and the first weekend of March.
Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be made on a four-week rolling basis starting from February 1 (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March).

Doubt it mate, it's usually plastered everywhere when they announce them
Yeah, that's what I thought too. I wonder when they will be announced. I have enjoyed being able to plan things well in advance knowing kick off times wouldn't change.

By the first game kicking off Sky have said that all televised games will have been announced up to the 3rd round of FA cup in Jan 2025.

Next update for games from then on will be Nov 1st.

Looks like Sky giving people a minimum of 2.5 months notice roughly to stop messing people about as much.
Has there been any update on times and dates for the 2nd half of the season? I can only see Sky schedule up to Jan 6th.

I didn't really get the Irish fans' problem with Rice and Grealish. Neither was born in Ireland and both seem to have lived their entire lives in England.

Irish people don't have an issue with players choosing to play for their nation of birth over their ancestry eg Kane, Maguire, Gallagher and Bellingham all could have played for Ireland but played for England. I have never heard an Irish person criticise them for that choice.
Grealish and especially Rice is a different scenario. Both played underage for Ireland and eventually chose to play for England, which they were perfectly entitled to. Michael Keane did the same thing and no-one has an issue with this. I think the issue with Grealish is that he is Grealish. Remember how we all felt about him during the "hand of Rod" game. He spent half the game dropping on his backside if someone so much as sneezed in his direction. He is a player opposition fans really dislike, if you notice in yesterday's match he didn't get booed every time he got the ball like Rice did.
The Rice situation is different and more complex. He played friendlies for the senior team, expressed his commitment to Ireland, kissed the badge etc. Then proceeded to flip and flop over which team he would represent before evenually picking England. This also took a space in the international set-up from a player who could have represented Ireland. Wasting FAI resources who have a considerably smaller budget than the FA. How would you feel if a player chose another country having represented England at senior level?
This is before you take into account the history between Ireland and England. How would you feel about a player who chose to play for the country who oppressed your country for 800 years? To choose the country who singlehandedly were responsible for halving the population during the great hunger, which lead to the death of over a million people and the mass emigration of millions of others escaping starvation. While Irish and English people get on with one another on an individual basis, a nation's psyche is affected by it's history and runs deep in all nationalities and is very difficult to ignore. While it is only football, it is rarely ever only football.

I've had membership in the past and was entitled to buy two tickets to matches when they went on sale for members. I'm not sure if this is still the case but a quick phone call to the ticket office could confirm.

He sits next to me at home. I'll ask him next game if it's October see what he says. He did say he's feeling good when spoke to him against Leeds quickly.
I met him in the carpark after the Leeds match and asked him. He said he'd be back in October. I thought he looked a lot leaner than he has previously, which hopefully will help him with regards to injuries. Poor guy has had a horrendous time the last few years. Hopefully when he comes back he gets a run of good luck.

Any season ticket holders managed to use the ticket exchange online ? Can’t see how to add a ticket for a game I can’t go to . Is the service only available if you have your ST on the app?

I'm on the app and can't work out how to do this either.

I'll ask a 2nd time, does anyone know if Sky Sports Plus is included in the usual subscription? I use NOW TV
"Sky Sports+ will give more choice to sports fans via live streams and a new dedicated channel, at no extra cost.
Launching this August, Sky Sports+ will be transformational in the amount of choice sports fans will have access to via live streams on Sky TV, streaming service NOW and the improved Sky Sports App on mobile.
With more coverage than ever before from the EFL, both tennis Tours and men's Super League, Sky Sports customers can enjoy more than 50% more live sport this year."

I took the above from the sky sports page. It appears it will be available on Now TV. I'm the same as you so hopefully it will be straightforward to access.

On this forum in the few days it was written that:

"Molumby is exactly what we need in midfield there aren’t many better in this league".

My reply was that he was a petulant headless chicken who prone to get stupid red cards.

2 days he does what it says on the tin, and having seen video of the incident it is unbelievable how verbal handbags turns into a full blown fight.

He can have good games, but we need a more controlled, consistent player.
Molumby has received 1 red card in 149 championship games. If I remember correctly that was a second yellow in the 21/22 season. He is prone to getting silly yellows but it is not true with regard to red cards. He totally lost the head yesterday and while we know him to play on the edge i can't recall him ever reacting like that.
I've met him a few times after matches, he wears his heart on his sleeve. His mood usually is dictated by the result. After Blackburn equalised in the last minute the season before last he was absolutely gutted. When he is injured he appears downbeat and frustrated. He just seems to love playing football and when he can't it seems to get him down. I wonder was his reaction yesterday in relation to getting injured again. We've seen it time after time players returning from injury a shadow of the player they were beforehand. Does anyone know how the club deals with the psychological side of injuries as that often appears to affect players longer than the physical injury.

Hull and Coventry have to play each other and both have to play 4 of the top 6.  Hopefully by the time we play Rotherham, Sheffield wednesday, Leicester and Preston they will have nothing to play for. No matter what happens we're guaranteed it won't be dull  ;D

Rekeem Harper contract mutually terminated with Ipswich with 1 season left on his deal.

Really not worked out well for him since he left!

Just signed for Burton, hope this move works out for him.

Seems very odd doesn't it.
