Austin, Hegazi and Harper have impressed most as Austin hits the post.

He's been knackered for ages but still a major threat.

Looks like the 11 who started will all finish it as well. Unusual, but suggests Bilic really doesn't rate any of those who haven't already been part of his plans.

Understand why he has done it (worried we go to replay if weakening team), but Soule and Tulloch seriously need loan moves now if they can't even get a chance in the cup.

Charlton off the bar, piling the pressure on.

I think Bilic is trying to get as many minutes into the lads as possible

We need to remember that just being on the bench is a big thing for a youngster.
There was probably never any intention of playing most of the bench.

Brunt is dead on his feet, has barely moved for the last 25 mins.

Men against boys. Dominated the game and should have scored a couple more. Job done.

Job done. Stick with same team for 4th round injuries permitting.

Gutted didn't get to see the subs get more game time but at 1-0 it made sense not to risk it. No one wanted a draw.

I enjoyed Zohore’s performance today, hopefully he can kick on from this and establish himself as a regular in the first 11

Hegazi, Townsend, Brunt, Austin, Zohore all played really well. The strikers looked happier playing together rather than as a loan striker.

Should've won much easier than we did.

11 changes, but still a win and a clean sheet. Job done.

Hegazi sending a timely reminder of how good he can be and great for O'Shea and Fitzwater to get clean sheets as well.

A bit of a shame not to see some of the kids given a bit more time from the bench, albeit understandable to a degree.

Going through to the 4th round does mean our game vs Cardiff now goes to a mid week, but Cardiff will probably best Carlisle in the replay anyway and atleast now our squad players get another game later in the month whuch could be useful as the season reaches the key run.

Although I like the idea of a home game vs a big side, my preference is to face a league 1 or championship side, which allows Bilic to again rest players and use more of the squad.

Well done Baggies.

Good performance from the team considering some of the players  didn't play for a period of time before this game.

Very enjoyable 90 mins and i don't care if it's cup or league i always want us to win but it was easier to enjoy with the league pressure off.

Really impressed today with Hegazi, Barry, Harper and Austin and Zohore certainly shown he has game in him. Brunt was good second half. O'Shea and Fitzwater both didn't put a foot wrong either.

Think in the league i'd be more inclined to give Harper the nod ahead of Krov next time around.

As easy a win as you’ll see all season.

Dominated that game completely

Zohore put in a good performance, Hegazi blocked everything

Townsend had a good game but I’m not convinced by him still

Harper did ok for me today too

How Brunt and then Austin’s follow up didn’t go in I don’t know

In the 4th round though, a win and a clean sheet. Happy with that

its not just the winning thats important...its rubbing the losers face in it after that counts

Harper was my MotM. Looked sharp and delivered good quick passes. Should give Sawyers some competition.  We should have won the game well before 80 minutes, when Charlton might have sneaked an undeserved draw at the end. In other words we struggled to create proper goal chances.
I assume this Charlton team was alot weaker than what we may face next week.

There were some great performances today, Zohore looked really good, Harper played well, dare I say Brunt played well. Austin and Zohore looked good together and happier playing together than as a lone striker. We looked a threat going forward for the first time in weeks.

Woodwork busy second half and that’s also the first time I’ve ever seen a ball back spin on the line ( after the Brunt/Austin chance)
