My question would be to Tony Pulis:-

'Have you ever identified Comacho to the board as a player you would like to sign for WBA?'

Answer = Yes

Q:- To Pulis

'What were the footballing reasons why the deal didnt go through?'

Answer = No

Q: To board

'Why were you attempting to sign a player the manager didn't want?'

Tony Pulis may not be manager by the next meeting.

Then the question would be to the board.

'Did Tony Pulis ever identify Comacho to you as a player he would like to sign?'

It doesn't look like he needs to answer them as you've done so already.....

What did you mean by "Answer = Yes" and "Answer = No"?

Oh sorry, if the answer to the 1st question was Yes then I would ask a follow up question to Pulis what the footballing reasons were why the deal didn't go through.

If Pulis said no to the 1st question (did you identify Comacho as a possible signing?)

I would ask the board why they were trying to sign him when the manager didn't want him.

Ah right, I thought you were assuming what his answers would be!  :)

I just think it was this deal that is causing alot of the confusion.

If we did bag Comacho, I would say folk would be giving this window 8/10 instead of 3's and 4's

How can it be "footballing reasons", when we don't play football only hold and hoof.

I doubt it, as we'd still be seriously short upfront.

With a proper goalscorer a definitely 10/10 for me, but yeah maybe 8 is a bit strong.

Slightly off topic but;

What if the plan was to sell Saido to stoke in the final throes, that would have given us another £20 million. We could then have got Cavhalo, & Bony on loan. Perhaps it was Sparky who stitched us up?

I remain convinced that it was Berahino who made sure he didn't move. His "I'm off on holiday" tweet was no coincidence IMO. Although I think our budget was more (or should have been more) than you do, I would imagine they had the £20m they would have got for Berahino earmarked to spend on a replacement. I doubt that they'd answer a question along those lines though!

Berahino should have been made to report to the training ground every day at 6am taken to mucklow hill and ran up and down it rather than go on holiday .

I want answers as to where did all this spin come from the club about signing Camacho and/or Carvalho since Chris Lepowski left the club. The supporters are treated abysmally by the press officer/department of the club. I feel that they look at lets give the supporters some bull**** about going to sign this or that player without any real intention of getting these transfers completed. How many players have we been linked with over the summer transfer window, dozens without any real application to get any of these so called targets in. I just want someone in our club to cut to spin and give the supporters the truth and not treat us like idiots.

Really hope you are right about this. The only way the club is going to get out of this toxic pit we're in, is by getting rid of Pulis

I'm hoping they open it by thanking Pulis & JP for what they've done, & looking forward to a brighter future under Mr Lai. In fact, wouldn't be in the least surprised if it wasn't postponed until October.
John the meeting is going ahead.

I'd have the prat running up steeper hills than Mucklow; Clent is steeper but better still, should have packed him off North of the border and make him run up Ben Nevis!
