I'm looking forward to a game where I'm not hiding behind the sofa for the last ten minutes. Or a game where we don't go behind in the first 20.

Please Albion I beg you. Please I just want a game where its an easy ride. A 2 or 3 nil.

What happened to 4 nil?  ;D

That's what I mean "scrape" a win. 😉

The Blades' players were practicing balls over the top for Burke to run onto during their warm up last time out. Burke was through on goal from one such through ball very early on. Luckily for us he lost his footing and the chance went begging. Switch on to the early ball over the top this time please gentlemen, we don't want to concede cheaply at any time but we most definitely don't want to be chasing the game from the off.

I do prefer more than one up front.
It stretches their defence, because they don't know where the threat will come next.
It keeps them back.

No Pereira out wide stick with 4411. If that means a last hurrah for Jake so be it.

A Livermore master class is on the cards tonight !  Which would be particularly galling in 1 way, but very helpful in another

Luckily enough I was sitting down when I read those last few words.

It's never happened before, unless you mean another red card?

Its quite feasible that barring injuries or suspensions, this could be Livermores last start this season, i think the sending off after 30 mins v Villa had his card marked by the new manager, and with the three new midfielder signed this window, he probably will know his days are numbered.

I think after tonight we mainly play once a week so there wont be tiredness, squad rotation, etc.

As for the team, i know Johnstone has had a good season and made lots of saves but there was something about Button in goal against Wolves that made me more confident, no idea why it was just a hunch, would like him to play tonight but dont think he will.

In the game at the Hawthorns they had 4 more shots than us (21 to our 17) but had 1 less on target...maybe that was luck maybe it was just poor finishing.  We had 5 more corners too (14 to 9)

They only had 2% more possession than us.

They did start off like a house on fire but soon become more of a damp squib.

Even if it's 3-0 with 10 minutes to go, I'll STILL be hiding behind the sofa! :'(

In terms of stats it seems more even but the chances that they squandered in the second half were horrific. I felt at the end they probably did deserve to win.

Just rewatched the sky highlights on YouTube. They missed 2 free shots from about 8 yards out and then that final chance from about 3 yards.

Hopefully we keep it tighter tonight

I couldn't believe that they missed the sitter at the end to be honest, as I say their finishing was poor. Maybe a draw might have been a fairer result but I can't agree that they probably deserved to win. All about opinions though and we all see things differently.

XG alert!

They created opportunities totalling 3.37 goals-worth, while we created 1.72 worth.

We must be positive and take control of the midfield. Not sit back letting them put us under non-stop pressure. Pity AMN and Okay can't be in there.

Johnstone

O’Shea Ajayi Bartley Gibbs

Livermore Snodgrass

Gallagher Pereira Robinson

Diagne

I think we’re likely to see something like this - we had far more composure when Snodgrass went centrally against Fulham.

Wilder will know we have a soft middle and I expect them to play a high press high energy game. We just have to hope their finishing is as bad as it was the first time.

It is our back side which lacks. We can be spanked unless the middle get a grip.

Sheffield Utd love to overload the wide areas - overlapping centre backs is basically a meme at this point. We need to be patient and not concede an early goal. 0-0 at half time is absolutely fine.
