Spain are still the best team I've seen so far, quite easily. This Belgium performance reminds me of France the other day. Not a great cohesion going on.

The coverage of the tournament so far has been appalling to be honest. Really disappointed with it. Think ITV have actually done a better job pre-match than BBC who have neglected the smaller sides completely and talked about anything but. Giving them the bare minimum coverage.

id take Lawrenson every time over Martin Keown and Lee Dixon.
Can't stand Ian Wright either.

And what a whirlwind of emotions it was for some. I love people listening and during the game first half i heard ‘we’re battering them, we’ll win the WC’ to second half ‘we’re pooh we always blitz the qualifying and don’t turn up’. To finally after the last minute goal goes in ‘we’ve got it in the bag this year’.

The Mexicans looked strong and Germany get better the deeper they go into competitions. If Mexico can beat Sweden and South Korea, then finishing second in our group could potentially be a real bonus. We'd go into the R16 with Colombia/Poland for a game against Mexico/Serbia/Switzerland. Germany on the other hand would have a game against Brazil (probably) with the winner likely to face the winner of England's group (hopefully Belgium).

We have the advantage going into Sunday as Belgium will have already played, so we will know exactly what we need to do going into the Belgium game next Thursday.

Was quite impressed with the performance last night, we won it late but had it of been Germany or Brazil winning a game like that we wouldn't have shut up about how the best teams find a way to win. First tournament in ages where we look as though we have a genuine goalscorer too, which makes all the difference.

Thought we looked pretty good in the first 20 minutes, we had enough chances to have scored 5 or 6.
Referee gave them a daft penalty then went on to deny us a hat full at every corner we had.
Not saying we're going to win the cup but we have a good chance to progress further than last time.
Lets hope we take it.

See our ex- pole just made a massive error back pass to gift Senegal a 2 goal lead and we paid him how much per week?
Hope Senegal win.

Kyrchowiak proving all the backers wrong on here.

It's not just us he was poor for, he's just not that good.

How does one game in the World Cup finals prove all the backers wrong, if anything the fact he is there suggests the so called backers have more idea then those who believe he is poor.

No doubt they believe Lewandowski is rubbish as well.
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

Well balanced and wonderfully executed through ball.

Pity it was played through to the opposition forward but never mind.

A pass of genuine quality, he didn't even need to look up  ;D .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

It's not one game in the World Cup finals though is it, it's a series of shocking performances for us compounded by a "HOWLER, ABSOLUTE HOWLER" (as the BBC put it) when playing for someone other than us.

I disagree, ITV also pointed out when the ball was played the opposition player was off the pitch to the extent the centre back didn’t even realise.

Pathetic excuses by Whom?

Poland were poor, Senegal definitely desreved to win.

Haven’t seen anyone say otherwise.

I've been watching in Germany and the tv panel were blaming Krychowiak for the painfully slow build up in the Poland attacks. Replaying some of his sideways and backwards passes from defensive midfield position. That was before his blunder.
I have to say, he looks like a decent Championship midfielder but nothing more.
