but if what baggie79 has said is true, which i have no doubt it is, about us enquiring about AJ, would that be with PO going other way? I hope not.

Yeah he is on Sky Sports News now saying so.

Said he isn't for sale & nobody has shown an interest either! Lazy journalism.

Check 5.12pm

Seems to me the player is prepared to go and possibly wants to go. Maybe i'm reading it wrong.

Providing he is replaced I honestly wouldn't be fussed.

Far too tempremental for my liking.

He won't go. Not with Long's injury problems.

I took it to mean that he wanted some clarity as to whether there had been a bid and the club have said that he won't be going anywhere even if there was a bid ...which apparantly there hasn't been.

I just think it's lazy sky journalism.

Just hedging his bets, he's a pro footballer, he might well really quite like it here, but I quite liked my first wife, at the time.

"It's true that Fulham are an option - and not just Fulham. To clarify the situation I turned to the club management. They told me that they don't want to sell me. Anyway, everything will be resolved soon."'

It's hardly, 'I'm going nowhere' is it?  We shall see.  I can't see us letting him go though.

Some of his comments even allowing for the loose translation, seems to suggest that he's rapidly burning bridges with club and fans.

Love what Pete has done for us and would never forget that , however everyone has a "shelf life " at clubs and if we can get 6m for him in the summer we would be foolish to turn down .
lets not forget we were really lucky to get him when we did but in the summer hopefully we need to fund the foster transfer and we will need 2-3 new faces ..

He was never going anywhere just bull pooh journalism to make headlines.
I was there when The King put the ball in the Everton net.

He may not have been going anywhere in the latest window, according to the Club. But he appears to be angling for a move away asap.

I keep saying it, he's on big wages on a four, now three and half year deal, so we don't need to sell, and if we do, it will be for way above what he's worth :)

IMO the sooner we cash in on him the better, his effort and body language says it all for me.

Problem is Long seems to be turning in to a "sick note"! We have noting in reserve & that showed today. An additional forward should have been signed during the window to support. I just hope we can get Long back fit & " Pete" hits form. On they're day two of the best front two in the bottom half in the prem, but we have not seen it enough!

A sicknote who possibly has a broken bone in his back apparently so maybe not exactly skiving. He's already made himself available when not fully fit and has played when not fully fit so bit harsh to label him a sicknote.

No way can you label Long a sick note! He play with a back problem and still gives 100%.
I'd like to apologise for my spelling and grammar. I post from my phone.

I've got no time for Odemwingie he's paid to do a job of work and he seems reluctant to try and play the way the hes asked to, or maybe he cant I'm not sure. For the money he's paid he ought to be at least making a fist of it but he doesn't appear to be.

Now in his defence I watched the seasons review from last season when all the players played with a smile on their face and a swagger in their step.
A short interview with Pete he says, 'West Brom play the way I like to play my football it is very good,'
that makes me think these players are playing to instructions that they either don't like or don't trust.
How many times did you see Pete on Saturday waving to the midfield and support the attack?

As I've said I don't like Pete's attitude but the guy has a point

Agreed but the majority of the 40k a week or whatever we pay him is for sticking the ball in the back of the net something he isn't doing this season. Against Everton and Swansea at home he's missed absolute sitters that would've earnt us a point in both games.
