Nice to see Nuno taking the cup seriously. Need about 3 points to secure PL status, plays the stiffs in the cup.

Can only be seen as bad news, A 7 or 8 nil against City awaits the winner, plus they get behind with their league programme.

Its all about the money for Newport to be fair as they don't have 2 pennies to rub together.

They aren't though, as soon as City came out of the hat, Pulis lost all interest, got his side together to take his regulation 3 points off us, and will probably take another 3 off Leeds on Saturday.

Tony's also taken Assombalonga off, they surely have no chance of getting back in this game without him, i doubt they'd have got back in our game without him.

Even if they win it it's a hollow victory though with 90% of clubs not taking the competition seriously. Despite the odd attempt in the media to suggest otherwise both domestic cups have died a death.

Me too but it meant something then everybody wanted to win it. Now, no one gives a stuff, hence 8,000 for our game against Brighton with a load of kids playing.

In the unlikely event of us getting there, there won't be enough tickets to go round
