Haaland has a hat-trick putting City 3-0 up against Wolves.

25 league goals so far. Absolutely nuts.

Yes makes sense. The guy was looking  for clicks!

Speed read that, could have sworn it was a 'd' and wondered how it got past the Mods  ;D .

Not really surprising. Got very lucky at the back end of last season.

I don't rate him as a top flight manager personally. Aren't Everton having FFP issues too?

I dont think any manager that goes into Everton can do anything at the min.

Building that nice new stadium and it will be hosting championship football. I think they're nailed on for relegation this year

No surprise they've sacked him as results will dictate that, but they are run poorly.

Lampard needs to go down to a club at a lower level, a stable one and build his managerial skills up.

its not just the winning thats important...its rubbing the losers face in it after that counts

Thomas Franks names been mentioned since last week but he'd be absolutely bonkers to swop Brentford for Everton in my opinion

Among other less complimentary terms Thomas Frank strikes me as a pretty switched on cookie. I'd be quite surprised if he were to jump ship from the support network he has at Brentford and go to Everton.

Unless Everton realise they need root and branch reform and plan on taking the support network as well of course. I imagine that would cost a bomb but it would represent better value for their money than they currently enjoy (if they can afford it with current and future outgoings etc.).

Frank would indeed be looking at a rebuild the size of Brentfords. Has he got the interest for it?  I imagine they would pay him well enough but does he want to go through it all again?

Telegraph saying Marco Bielsa is one of the early favourites. Also say they don't want a 'firefighter' appointment ala Big Sam

Frank's done really well at Brentford but most of his support network (ie. scouting, recruitment, b teams etc.) was already in place before he took the reigns thanks to a forward thinking owner (and now deceased Technical Director) with an idea and a plan.

Everton wouldn't be able to take Brentford's owner. The question is if Thomas Frank were interested could they afford to take the support network complete with a living Technical Director or whatever his title is and would Brentford's owner be interested in selling Everton an off the shelf functioning unit? Probably not  ;D .

According to Twitter today Brentford have rejected their approach and Frank rumoured to have zero interest as well. Good man!

Pity. Would have been fun watching them playing a high pressing style with Tarkowski and Cody at the back. Never mind.
