Wisdom has had two really solid performances in the last week, its unfortunate for him that the Liverpool game has come around just as he has started to show form but I believe Gamboa will be our first choice RB in the months to come.

Will he start on Saturday or will Baird get the nod?

As Baird is only just come back to training from an illness, I very much doubt he will be considered.

One thing I do like about AI's team selections has been that every player needs to 100% fit and ready before they get a start...

I think his done well in the last two games and formed a solid defence with the other players, his attacking was also improved against Burnley, the plus side of him being out is we get a proper look at Gamboa against a top team. This can only be good for the squad. If he plays well I agree I think he will keep his spot for a couple of games at least.

He also says he will not restrain him, he wants him to do what he does best and attack! Positive words indeed and, looking at them last night, I don't think they'll relish the thought.

I thought sterling looked really jaded ast nioght, I can see Rogers resting him.
I suspect we will be facing Borini, Lallana and Lambert

Linked up well going forward, had one run in the first half where he left the whole Liverpool side for dead.

I think we're going to see plenty of assists similar to the one for Dorrans' goal against Burnley in the coming months.

Nice one thanks, I see most people still saying Wisdom as first choice moving forwards, Gamboa not so good defensively?

You might find it'll be a horses for courses approach with Wisdom playing when we need to shape up more solidly, that's not to say Gamboa can't defend either though.

Would be interesting to see Wisdom as a right sided centre-half in 5-3-2 formation with Gamboa playing wing back.

I see no reason why Gamboa can't be used wide right of a 5 man midfield. We are crying out for pace and width further up field.

According to a  website he was substituted at 84 minutes.  Nothing said about a stretcher but  who knows

No mention of it on his Twitter feed, just a pic of him and the team looking chuffed with being undefeated.

Just checked Nigel Adderley's Twitter too. Can't actually see any mention of Gamboa on there either.

Perhaps he was mistaken and took the tweet down.

Either way, I wouldn't get too worried until the club say something.

No mention of Gamboa being injured in the wrap up of International games on the Albion site.

I just asked him if he was injured, because we were hearing he was.... This is his reply.

@Cris_GamboaCR Albion fans are hearing you are injured? Are you? Hope you're good, looking forward to seeing you kill Man Utd!!

@KnaveofAlbion  no i am ok mate , i will ready for Man Utd !! 👍 cheers

So that's that. He's ok, on a side note, god bless the internet and Gamboa seems cool. Interaction with the fans is a big plus for me.

He was stretchered off in los Ticos' game against the Netherlands at the World Cup. Maybe that tweet got stuck in a time warp.

Anyone think his time could be up already here ?

I for one really hope not and hoping he gets a look in under Pulis but I just can't see it. Could potentially be utilised on the wing, although by his own admissions he doesn't like playing there.

Got an assist today for what it's worth. Hope Pulis gives him a chance, very exciting player
