Klopp was a breath of fresh air for Liverpool and the PL and came across as a very decent person.  He will be missed.

I thought he came across as a very sore loser sometimes actually, without merit. He was very good for Liverpool though and he was a bit of a character.

He is very arrogant as well as a bad loser. He was once very critical of Albion’s defensive tactics just because we took a point off Liverpool

Klopp can come across as an backside / arrogant etc at times but I imagine he’s a really nice guy. His players seem to love him.

Huge loss for Liverpool. Despite not having Fergy or Mourinho (1st time at Chelsea) success I can easily see Liverpool have a similar period of difficulty adapting after him.

Going to be big boots to fill ! Difficult to see his successor Xavi Alonso perhaps , maybe Maresca . Have to assume they’ll want somebody with European experience but could they afford to see which international manager is available after the euros I doubt it

I hope they go for that vile you know what.

But, if Alonso doesn't go to Real (because CA isn't now certain yo get the Brazil job) he will a strong contender given his history with them.

Won't be sorry to see him go, another who came into this country knowing how we do things and how many games top clubs play and then whinged about it constantly.

They all wanted bigger squads and more subs to cater for the number of games they play and still whinged when they go their own way.

Saudi, German national team or maybe at a push Bayern as Tuchel seems not to be flavour of the month with the top brass.

Won't forget his arrogance after scraping a 2-2 draw against us either, you'd think they'd won the cup that day.

I thought the Germany job too when I saw he was leaving, without the motherland having to pay Liverpool a big compensation fee, because he had resigned.

I think his history with Dortmund and their fans hatred of him will probably mean Bayern aren't an option.

He will have a pep like break and come back into the game I think.

He couldn't live without celebrating those draws against us with him and players holding hands and celebrating like they had won a cup.

Never liked him, but I cannot deny he has done brilliantly for the scousers.

The next Liverpool manager will have  a big rebuilding job to do, as it looks like Salah is off, and it isn't easy to replace his goals.

That going over to the fans after the game as a team is fairly standard in Germany. Happens pretty much after every game and not just when the team has won. In fact, I've seen it when teams have lost, which makes for some interesting fan reactions!  Its nothing to do with arrogance, but just building on the connection to their fans.

Interestingly enough I don't think his Liverpool team that’s based in the Democratic Republic of Scouseland had done it at Anfield before that though. He knew they got out of jail with a lucky late deflection that day and just couldn't contain himself.

Luton beating Brighton 4-0. What Rob Edwards has achieved there is absolutely incredible. Now outside of the relegation zone.

While money helps it goes to show what is possible with little money if you have good people.

Manager of the last 2 seasons for me.

Only if it happens so I'm not tempting fate with baby oil and tissues just yet. And they can still stay in the cupboard if the Witton AnkersofW make the Europa League or whatever it's called these days.

Although I'm more than happy with how Carlos has done, Rob Edwards was my choice when it came to voting before the appointment. He is working with almost peanuts at Luton.

I actually met Klopp briefly a few months ago on my very first visit to Anfield on a business meet.
He came across as a friendly person with a big smile with a sort of honesty in his eyes but he did look tired.
He is obviously a top manager ,world class imo, a man who has achieved winning all before him in England and Europe including the world club championship.
I was impressed in the few minutes with him ,I was surprised by his announcement.
My take on this is that he knows that Mbappe wont sign for Liverpool .
He’s decided to leave at the top ,possibly as league champions at least having rebuilt the team.
He will become manager of the German national team.

It's simply astonishing. On paper they still ain't that good as they haven't spent that much but he's got them playing well above their individual levels.
