As usual for the Stoke away game, got my ticket and parking permit last week.
Trouble is, I’ll be sitting in the main stand surrounded by Stoke fans but that’s the penalty of living in the area for many years and having so many Stokie mates.

It seems, being virtually guaranteed a play-off spot, players have taken their foot of the pedal in the last few games - maybe subconsciously saving themselves for the play-offs.

It was this game last season the Dyke was injured in a tackle and BTA was unpunished for a clear foul on one of their players resulting in that player breaking a bone in his back. If BTA plays, he’ll be getting mega stick from their lot!

I don't think we are guaranteed, even virtually guaranteed. Easy to lose a few games and not make it the way we are going.

Rather than the players taking their foot off the gas, we have had games against sides with something to play for and they have both pushed hard for a result.

Unbeaten in 8 and one defeat in 12 - what do you mean by ‘the way we are going’ . Definitely not guaranteed but I believe the team has the character and skill and never say die to get us into the playoffs

Good point on monday in the end, coming from 2-0 down and other results going our way.

With Norwich playing Ipswich and Coventry playing Leeds a point tomorrow could still be another decent result if we can't get three. Even Hull have an away game at the side directly below them in the table and Preston are away to a reinvigorated Watford side that has some big players at this level.
