The Hopkins one reminded me of,

Ally Brown - Alex Cropley - complete accident, but never heard anything quite like that leg break

Sadly Alex Cropley never recovered from it.

The Alex Cropley game was my first visit to Seal Park, 3-0 drubbing dat in lower tier of Trinity next to Holte End in full colours, horrible day, seal chant/clap/stamp surrounding me, back when they knew who their true enemy was.

I was sat in the same area that day. Bloody awful experience. Had a work do the evening of that game and my boss at the time was a Villa fan, what a crappy experience that all was.
Born Baggie. Die disheartened.

One of my favourite memories of games against Vile was during the first minute of yet another dire home defeat in the 80s, Hoppy put the Vile winger nigh on into the Halfords Lane front row, horrible tackle and not sure he was even booked.

Yep straight from kick off it was mark Walters he took out, even back in those days it looked a red card but he wasn’t even booked. I am sure the game was at villa park though
It's easy to have faith in yourself and have discipline when you're a winner, when you're number one. What you got to have is faith and discipline when you're not a winner.

Anyone hear Vinny on Radio Wm ? Typical deluded vile fan calls in and said ‘ whoa Franksie, we’re back, soon be in the top 6’...even Franksie laughed. He also mentioned 1982, they just can’t help themselves can they!... :D

Ha-ha, love it (skips over fact that this page majors on a match in 1977 and another in the 80's 😉)

I was watching Final Score on the BBC yesterday Jon Walters and Kilbane were discussing how bad the Norwich defence was and both said   Norwich are that bad and they are only playing Villa, that is where villa are people being surprised if villa do well against poor opposition.

Not quite sure what the implications of posting the wording could be on here so will refrain, but connotations of slavery are contained in one of the lines they use and the final line is similar to the Lukaku chant the Man Utd fans were criticised for using in reference to his manhood.

The vile lot got through tonight.
Will it be too many matches for them in the end?

The League cup?
The poisoned chalice.
It cost Birmingham their place in the Prem.
Watford or was it Wigan too, but please correct me.

Wigan were relegated after beating Manchester City in the FA Cup, not the League Cup. Despite having been previously relegated Watford have never won either cup.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Seriously do not care.

As I understand it they fielded a local primary school and still scored against the vile...….

That game was a waste of electricity for me.

Of course the Villa draw Liverpool who have the Club World Cup final on the day of the scheduled tie. Everything landing in their lap as ever.

As soon as the Dingles picked John Ruddy there was only going to be one loser. Awful goalkeeper.
