I'm hoping Carlos keeps the same line up, unless anyone has a knock.

If we can play as we did on Saturday, and cut out the sloppiness, I think we could get those three points that keep alluding us. Apart from that, I don't like losing to this lot. COYB

I can’t shake the feeling it’ll be a draw. No idea why.

Automatic looking well beyond us already, but win this and all those draws won't look quite so bad, no one else outside the top 3 are looking consistent

Need to string 4 or 5 wins together to just get back in just contention but sadly can't see it.

This is way too soon to be a must win game but never the less this feels like a watershed moment. A win tonight makes up some ground a draw or defeat looks like drift and I suspect for the rest of the season we won't ever be more than a few wins away from crashing the play-off party but somehow you know they aren't going to materialise.

I think so too. Felt we had a big period across 3 games Starting with SUFC. A point against United was a decent start. 4 points or more against Coventry and Watford would really lift the place. Less and I wouldn’t be surprised if we dont break in to the top 6 again this season. A loss tonight and we could be 4 points off, 7 by the final whistle Sunday.

Trying to decipher whether our support base is highly knowledgeable with a very keen insight into the reality of our chances for making the playoffs or if it's the most pessimistic in the country.

Genuinely wonder what supporters from other clubs such as tonight's opponents Coventry and then Luton, Bristol City, Norwich and Swansea think of their chances of making them given their current points totals and respective squads with a transfer window ahead of them.

I'd go and have a read but I genuinely can't be bothered. This place is depressing enough as it is at times, I can't be going anywhere else to look for even more misery (  ;D ) . There's a lot of football still to play.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

IMO, we are just a couple of whiskers away from being a successful automatic promotion team.

Whisker number 1 is a creative number 10 who is also a team driving on-field ‘leader’ who can bully his teammates into performing to a consistent high standard.

Whisker number 2 is a natural goal poacher in the mould of a Kevin Phillips to play alongside Josh Maja or possibly Daryl Dike although I fear the latter will never be of the standard needed.

Does anyone remember many years ago when we were drawn against Coventry in the FA Cup I believe.  Coventry were flying high at the time in Div 2 or 3 and managed by Jimmy Hill who had what he called ‘The M Plan’ or something like that.  If my memory serves me correct, we thrashed them.

Stat from BBC website

West Brom have both failed to win (D3 L1) and failed to score in each of their last four midweek league games (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) since a 2-0 win over Rotherham United in April earlier this year.

Had forgotten we were so awful in mid-week games.   Time for a change.

Not surprised. Bartley’s passing was poor on Sunday

Probably can't handle two games in a week coming back from his injury, too.

It would be nice for an early goal for us, but keep the pressure up all game, and we should be able to come away with three points.

Not suprised. Bartley is 33, has just come back from injury and played 90 minutes three days ago.
