£39 is ridiculous. I'm pretty sure it was £30 last season.

Still bought a ticket though!

Thinking it was £36 from memory. I went too but it was the last away day of the regular season which is how I justified it to myself at the time. Sheffield Wednesday can get stuffed at £39 a pop for this one though.

Correct. Memory playing tricks with me. Or rather I just forgot it wasn't as expensive as I was expecting at the time  ;D .

How can these prices be allowed when there is a cap at a lower price in the premier league?

Maybe ticket money is more important to Championship clubs than it is to Premier League clubs as the Tv revenue isn't as much?
To be honest though Sheff Wednesday have always been at the higher end of ticket pricing (apart from last season).

There is some logic to that I must say. However, it still seems wrong to me that we must pay more to go to Sheffield Wednesday than we would to go to Manchester City!

Click on the little upside down triangle on the right hand side of the rectangular box which says 'Adult Ticket' to reveal a drop down menu and select the ticket of your choice.

Tickets selling well for this given the disgraceful pricing.

I’ve succumbed and purchased mine. Sheffield is a great city and looking forward to another visit.

This one's not for us. The Sheffield Wednesday Chancer can shove his £39 ask up a dark place.

And they’ve performed much better in their last couple of games and haven’t got the rewards they deserved. This will be a tough task and a potential banana skin.

Our performance cannot be any worse than the one we put out in April. That was pathetic.

This sums up my thoughts. Last season they were fighting to stay in the league this season they are fighting to get their season started. Expecting a tricky game.

Bernard is out at the back for them having been sent off against Luton, according to sofa score he's been 6.8/10 player for them this season so could be a big miss.

The one good thing for us is that our players are fresh, last season we were looking jaded when we played them and I think the pressure of cementing a play off place got to them.

Hopefully we'll start with our usual pace and create chances. We have been more clinical away from home.

I'm in my early thirties.

Historically, Sheffield Wednesday, Reading, Barnsley and Derby have always meant miserable away days for us so I'm not holding out for much and would take a draw.

I am in my sixties and generally agree about trips to Hillsborough with the exceptions of Phillips late winner and giving them a good thumping when cox scored

We haven't played Wednesday at Hillsborough that many times since beating them 1-2 there on October 8th 2000. Since that time we've only lost twice. November 6th 2006 (3-1) and last season. Four wins (Including the one in 2000), two draws and two defeats is hardly the stuff of Stoke legend. It just seems that way. Apparently. I've got the Internet  ;D .

I genuinely can't remember any of these wins! I remember the 2-2 under Moore with the late Harvey Barnes equaliser but that's it. I'd also add Burnley to another tough away ground.

I have seen WBA there twice and we won both occasions. 1-0 SKP last minute winner and we beat them 4-0 and I missed the first 2 goals because of the rubbish trains.

I agree though potential banana skin although we are hitting average 2 goals each away game. And I have said for last few weeks somebody is due a drubbing.

Also the 3-0  win during covid times too. I remember Dichio scoring I a 1-1 draw too.

Hillsborough was a graveyard for Albion from 1966 to 2000. Some miserable defeats in that period, with the semi final defeat being the most painful.
