Can someone kindly explain what WBATicketsOnThe Go involves.  If it means downloading onto a smart phone then I'm out, as I choose not to have internet on my smartphone (for very sound reasons), and this laptop is a bit bulky to be taking up to the stadium.
The only other option seems to be an E Ticket, which sounds like I get the option of downloading a PDF ticket. However, that involves the hassle of a journey down to my library to print off the ticket, probably for a charge.

Have the club stopped sending out tickets altogether?

I'm a season ticket holder and I do not have the app. Just logged into my account, clicked on 'ticket exchange' and came to a drop down menu of fixtures with tick boxes.

I imagine you tick said boxes and take it from there, very straight forward at first glance. Pretty sure the club only offers away supporters a Pdf print off option now in keeping with clubs such as QPR.

No idea about how they're going about things for home supporters but given their preferred penchant for the app I imagine it'll be E-Ticket/Pdf only. Email the club to be on the safe side, they may even print one off and post it to you if you ask them (big hint  ;) ) .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Thanks Dan. I took your advice and phoned the ticket office who kindly obliged and agreed to print and send. Though the seat I wanted in the Halfords was gone (probably due to me messing about on the App not logging myself out).
So luckily there is still an option for getting our hands on actual tickets. I suppose they figure that us digital luddites will gradually fade away into obscurity.

So how do Swansea match up this season, can’t say I know much about them. Have they recruited well, do they have players that can cause damage? Or should we win this one easily?

I watched them yesterday against Cardiff. They were fine, without being a major threat, for the first 40 mins against a passive Cardiff outfit that didn't press and were outnumbered in midfield.

Second half Cardiff changed things around and looked the greater threat.

It's hard to tell. Swansea were at home yesterday, they may set up very differently at the Hawthorns.

Harry Darling wins almost everything in the air from attacking set pieces. Thankfully, we have Bartley who does the same defensively, even if he doesn't know where the ball is going as he connects with it.

To be honest we can beat any team in the league on our day, there's nothing to be scared of. At the same time no game is a gimme in the Championship.

Can't wait. 18-0 Albion.  8)

Just an average champo team to me, couple of good players but nothing to fear.

Don't think it will be a walk in the park as such but we have superior players and manager so we should be favourites to win

Doesn't really matter how average the opposition is. We need to cut out the sloppy mistakes and switch on because even average teams have the ability to finish their dinner (chances) on a given day.

I recognise we were the better side overall away to QPR and Stoke but for profligate finishing and the frame of the goal we could very well be sitting on three points currently instead of seven.

You make a relevant point if not a fraction exaggerated. Absolutely we deserved the win at QPR and we were the better team at Stoke BUT Koumas (impressive as he was) really shouldve buried the two chances he missed.

Thankfully, MOST teams in this league are without / desperate for quality finishers.

Not remotely exaggerated. I've posted facts. Profligate finishing and frame of the goal. That and even average players can hit the back of the net.

I think you are slightly exaggerating in as much as I don't think QPR threatened our lead at all. Maybe they could've got another goal but they never looked likely to get a point IMO.

I think you'll find QPR could have scored before they did and been further ahead before we got off the mark.

Disagree, not really. Yes they might have had a day where everything goes in but overall I thought we really shouldve won that game. Stoke I see slightly differently. We were the better team but had we lost that game I couldn't really have complained.

Bottom line is, as you say, we need to tighten up at the back. We're getting away with it at the moment.

Of course, i don't think anyone is suggesting we are perfect. If we don't turn up and apply ourselves we could get turned over by the worst of the league

Apologies for any offence Gaz', I'm not going to pretend I read your name at the head of that post. For some reason I thought both replies were from Atomic.

It's what occasionally happens when I'm multi tasking. I was reading from my mobile which was folded on top of the microwave while chopping fruit and veg for this afternoon and tomorrow so I can pop out and enjoy today's weather too  8) .

I definitely agree with SmethDan here. Only seen the highlights of the games so far, but we have been caught in possession a few times and it's led to good chances for both QPR and Stoke.

Really impressed with our attacking play, but we're definitely not as solid defensively as we were last season, yet. And I do say "yet" because this time last year we put out a back five Vs Leeds of Furlong, Ajayi, Kipré, Pieters and Phillips.

It's also worth noting the changes in midfield. Swift has been more fluid, dropping deeper and keeping momentum going while Molumby has been pressing and challenging further forward. While often deeper than both Mowatt is not a traditional defensive midfielder and none of them appears to have taken on Yokuslu's tracking role.

This is purely conjecture but I doubt QPR score their goal unchallenged with him in our side and he'd more than likely have been in the half space between midfield and centre back for Stoke. When Racic gets up to speed I see him occupying that role.
