Am I correct that we've got 12 points from the possible 33 since Shilen Patel bought us...?

Did the squad and CC think, ok, we're safe now?

Just a thought, hope I'm not being too negative....

It may be a coincidence.  More likely having someone in charge who knows what they're doing and they can't deal with the pressure, Corboran included.   Certainly the out of contract players would have more chance of a contract extension if we don't go up.

Will be interesting to see if Maja starts, this is the last opportunity to get some minutes into his legs.

CC says on the bench with the confidence of having score two in the week. .

I'm a little worried about the fact we will probably have three out of contract players in the side and Townsend at LB who has been appalling recently.  Yokuslu has also been a liability in the last two games.

We should have qualified for the POs weeks ago and we've messed up big-time.

You cannot just switch form and desire on.

But if we can't get a point at home against Preston - who have lost the last four -  then we don't deserve to qualify.

We obviously need to go up financially but either way there needs to be the biggest clear out in our history.  Half the squad know this,  so Corboran has one hell of a job to motivate them tomorrow and if we qualify in the POs.

Townsend, Bartley, Kelly, Pieters, Phillips, Pipa, Weimann, Chalobah, M'Vila and Grant have no future at WBA.

Kipre and Mowatt may be offered new contracts and may well have been informed.

I just hope we can somehow get over the line.

It doesn't matter how many resources you have.

In a must not lose game I don’t think the manager will be thinking about giving Maja minutes - that ship’s sailed for the season I’d say.
I think he'll be on the bench for either a last Hail Mary if we need it or the last 10 minutes if we have aced it

It's been a while for me, so does anyone know what time the players arrive on Halfords Lane? Going with the kids today and they wanted to get a glimpse of the players. Is it still about 1.5 hours before KO, or is it any different being a lunchtime game? Thank you

Big day! Will Patel be in attendance?

I feel quite confident of a win but there’s that nervous background noise in my mind that West Brom have created over the years!

Hope for a simple win where we can get a couple of goals clear.

I think there’ll be a great atmosphere and I think we’ll win.

I’m not feeling nervous because I don’t actually think there’s that much at stake - because I don’t rate our chances in the playoffs.

But it would be a real shame not to get there given the brilliant work Corberan has done with this group to get us in the top six pretty much all season. The manager deserves his shot at it.

This would be good to know actually as I’m considering get the Match Pass. Sky usually block casting, no idea about these.

That’s kind of how I feel but a Wembley trip would be nice.

Saw us lose both Vs Derby and Portsmouth under Mowbray, but wouldn't be able to make it this year. Maybe I'm bad luck...

Saw us lose to Derby but beat Port Vale at old Wembley. Can’t make it this year because of work commitments. Should we make it. And if it kicks off early I’ll be at bloody work!

Morning all, big day isn't it.

I was going to get to this by hook or by crook but a late finishing gig last night, ironically just outside Preston (I've not long been awake!!), expected bank holiday traffic and stupid kick off time has quashed that. I will nevertheless be right behind the boys (and elderly players too) and watching it somehow.

If we don't make the playoffs I'm pretty sure I will metaphorically poo my pants and complain. We shouldn't have this to do on the last day but I've followed the Albion for my sixty revolutions around the sun and know that this is The Albion Way.
