For anyone looking for a ticket, they've opened up tickets in the area netted off after the cup game indiscretions.

I think we have to go 2 upfront.so Asante and Maja with Johnstone and Wallace providing the bullets .
So a 3-2-3-2 formation with Swift as a 10.
Got to go for it Carlos.

It's a pity we can't play Barnsley on Saturday really. Still, they finished 6th in League One and are in the Playoffs. In the unlikely event they get past Bolton and all goes well for them at Wembley and we stay down there's always next season to look forward to  ;D .

I hope we start something like this:

Palmer, Furlong, Kipre, Bartley, Townsend (urgh), Mowatt, Yokuslu, Fellows, Diangana, Johnstone, BTA (if Maja is ready then him).

I feel we will see us start with Wallace though. I mainly hope we see that midfield though.

There’s also of course Swift who could easily start and have one of his brilliant games. I only saw a bit of the Sheff W game - as in about 20 mins a bit before and after they went 1-0 up but Diangana was looking good in that time.
that’s the team I would go with no room for Wallace or Phillips who are second and third choice wingers in my book.

I don't rate him in the East. Massive disappointment for me. Overpaid and overstated.

Have you ever tried watching Swift swoop from a westerly direction instead ;D ?

I think he's more likely to go with BTA up top and introduce Maja from the bench.

I think that BTA for this match and playoffs, is much more effective off the bench
Or even go for a 442 Maja & BTA  up top

I like the idea of starting BTA to run their CBs ragged then bringing on Maja at half time.

I would play Whitwell instead of Swift; fed up with his level of participation.  I would play 3 in midfield.

The basic problem with fielding youngsters in the Championship is that it's a rough division and the referees are hopeless (cf Ballard's tackle on Maja).

I had a look on PNE unnoficial website last night, the vast majority of their fans expect us go win comfotably just a couple saying an awsy win, interestingly no draw expected, make of that what you will.

Imagine the scenario:

There are six minutes added time at the Hawthorns. We are in the 96th minute. The score is currently Albion 4 Preston 4, Albion having squandered a four goal lead.

Elsewhere, Hull have pulled off the impossible. The final whistle has sounded in Plymouth, Hull have won by 11 goals to 0.

Meanwhile, back at the Hawthorns. There is one last, attack. Tom Fellows reaches a long ball a fraction ahead off the defender who leaves his leg out. Fellows hits the deck inside the penalty area. The referee points to the penalty spot. John Swift, who has never missed a penalty for the Baggies, collects the ball and puts it on the spot. He runs up to take the kick ........

...... what happens next?

Does that make me feel any better knowing the vast majority of Preston fans expect us to win? ...... No!

It's ok people making predictions or even having bets on results, but in reality anything can happen. Of course, on paper we are favourites to win and of course we all hope we do. All we can do as fans is get behind the team and make some noise! COYB

Am I correct that we've got 12 points from the possible 33 since Shilen Patel bought us...?

Did the squad and CC think, ok, we're safe now?

Just a thought, hope I'm not being too negative....

Your stats may well be right but I am pretty sure that your view of the players and the manager especially are not right. If I ever thought differently, my very long love affair with this great club would be over....
As fans, we can play our part on Saturday and I fully expect an excellent matchday atmosphere.
