He had been fouling Ballard before the first YC. Clearly out for some payback for Maja for me

If he put the same amount of effort into controlling the ball and hitting the target as he does recklessly running around and sliding in he’d be a half decent player.

Absolutely ridiculous stuff, Sunderland were absolutely zero threat now we've thrown away the game and put a lot more pressure on ourselves due to a completely ridiuclous 2 bookings.

He needed subbing off before the first YC when he biting at Ballard. Damage done now. So stupid

Can’t see us getting this back now. Ten men against a team like this is not where you can afford to be.

Brandon couldn’t trap a bag of sand and then to allow them to score is awful, give this lot 3 points heads have gone already.

Massively against the run of play. Need to somehow slvage something from this. We are the better team, but Sunderland will throw even more behind the ball now. Best news Cov losing 2-0.

Sunderland defended really well - we created nothing clear cut - and that was in fairness a super half volley for the goal.

Maybe it’s just me, but “modern” football with one central striker leaves us very reliant on our wide and midfield players being productive in attack, and that hasn’t happened today. I don’t care for it too much.

In any event BTA’s second yellow was foolish and the ref had no option.

We need to get him out of the side. Fine as an impact sub as I’ve always said but he’s nowhere near it as a starter. Getting sick of watching every attacking move break down due to his poor touch or those first time flicks he does instead of holding it up.

I’m hoping that’s why CC has played Maja in the U23s, he has to start if we make the playoffs. He won’t be getting 3 sitters a game like he did against Rotherham.

He has to play though. Not his fault. CC doesn't like any of the young strikers so he will play.

The decision to leave Maja out of todays game was stupid but we can't do anything about it now

Really stupid from BTA. Beggars belief! Ref had no choice but to send him off. going to struggle now I think, but Sunderland didn't really offer much to be honest, other than the goal, which was a good finish. Might be worth trying to get one of their players sent off. Maybe Ballard?

Wallace has always been the better option for me. He’s a more intelligent footballer, makes better runs and he’s better technically. It’s not like BTA offers an aerial threat or a presence so there’s no real argument against it for me.

I don't like Wallace up front but can't disagree that he's a better footballer

Weimann offers little but he should have been brought on. BTA lost his head and was there for all to see.

Not stupid at all. Was clear from Wednesday that he's not yet ready. He got an hour plus last night. Right decision for me.
