I checked Wiki nothing is mentioned about Thomas Brammall being a Leicester Fan I did notice when I looked yesterday that the last edit was a few minutes before so it might have been deleted

The quote doing the rounds I think has been doctored on Wiki ! If you take a peek today it’s word for word the same but with the lines about family being Leicester supporters missing. It could of course be the other way round and he or somebody else has deleted the lines !
Forget Wikipedia
He’s the one we had against the dingles in the cup
There’s a very strong chance he felt that we deserve a few bad decisions ?

So, we stick the ball in the onion bag about four times , and it matters not if he supports Leicester, or sells seats to Dingles in the Halfords. Excuses , excuses, and by the way if BTA had been around he quite possibly might have notched one.

I think anyone who saw the Rotherham game would say otherwise. Wallace put in a far better all round performance than BTA has all season and we carved out chance after chance against the best side in the league, on paper, so I think the only conclusion to draw is that BTA stifles our creativity with his lack of ability to control or pass a football

I saw the Rotherham game . I have seen every game this season .Jed has flattered to deceive this season .
Your conclusion is always to blame BTA, please take into account the financial cost to our club for the services of messrs Wallace and Swift versus Thomas-Asante

Bizarre argument. The financial cost of any of those players has nothing to do with what is best for the side in the games to the end of the season. We look better and far more cohesive without BTA, simply put

I agree with Frizel here.  We need to do what's best for the squad, not pick players because they were cheap and have performed ok for their price tag.

The only reason for not putting Wallace up top in place of BTA (assuming no-one else more suitable), is if we think losing Wallace on the wing is too high a price to pay.  With Fellows\Grady\Johnstone\Phillips, I feel like we have replacements almost as good.  On Saturday was a good example of Wallace - he runs just as much as BTA but he possesses that bit of quality when it's needed.

BTA might run around a lot but the ball just bounces off him.  The stats back that up - 12 goals and 2 assists.  Not a great return from your main striker in a league where we're 6th top scorer, and probably finishing 5th.  He's down at 23rd on the top scorers chart.  Matty Phillips has more assists and he's been out for most of the season and Weimann has a better return for goals per 90.

The way the game went and was likely to go against Leicester suited Wallace far more, he is dangerous in transition and that's how we were going to get most of our chances against Leicester as they commit men forward and we exploit the space.

There are games that suit Thomas-Asante more than Wallace and there are games that will suit Maja more who I hope we can get up to fitness soon, I'd start him against PNE for sure.

Interesting listening to the Liquidator podcast and Goldberg agreeing with me that we look far more threatening without BTA up top. The movement of Wallace is just far better/more intelligent and creates so much more space for others

Not something I thought I'd see written here given my last listen to it. Struggled with my sleep last night so I might give it a go again later. Cheers for the reminder.

Any chance of a heads up for the minute I need to fast forward to where he agrees with you please? Wouldn't want to miss that bit before dozing off, sounds very interesting  8) .

I have submitted your feedback to Adrian, Chris and the team, including your full name and address  ;D

As my love for you is almost as Insatiable as that of Darren Hayes, I forced myself to listen back to the first few minutes of it for you again...

Around the 4 minute mark onwards where he looks at the striking options  ;)

Nice one, I don't think they'd take it too personally as I imagine they'll be used to it by now. Had to Google Darren Hayes but ta very much for the sentiment. Many thanks for the rough timing of the snooze fest. I can fast forward straight to it before settling down for sleepybyes soon after. Podcasts really bore the brown gunk out of me. Too much umming and aahing which leads me to distraction. Thanks in advance  8) .

There isn’t a chance bta making that run that Wallace did for the goal,we look better in an attacking way without bta

Wallace was very good on Saturday, but has been very average this season. In my humble opinion of course.

I still can't believe we lost. But for 2 years we have lacked a decent cf. BTA has performed admirably for his price tag but isn't the answer. That game suited Wallace he took his chance very well and had a very good game but he also isn't the answer up top...

Best we have played under Carlos not just this season but since he game in. I liked the 3 man midfield it gave us far more control I would like to see it again. Argument for not playing Leicester in playoff is that they are clinical- but you take your chances and I think we beat them comfortably both times we have played them this season and we could in playoffs
O Albion we love you

I know this is highly unlikely, but how much pleasure would be derived from beating Leicester in the play off final and shoving it up Vardys passage.

I’d be more interested in signing him for next season.

Find it difficult to believe myself but this pillock was actually awarded the Premier League fixture between Crystal Palace and Newcastle on the back of his inept 'performance' between us and Leicester. Words do not fail me. I just can't use them on here.

I'd read that as well but really didn't want to go there. Being rewarded for ineptitude again. Completely takes the sips and just goes to show the likes of Alan Pardew would have enjoyed greater longevity with a whistle than with a training cone.

It's a blessing he's only involved with the game now when offering his 'expert' opinions on TalkTwoddle. I can and do turn such background noise off when he infects the airwaves.

So much easier to do than get him out the door when he was at the Albion. Imagine the Mighty King of Loveshimself with a whistle and access to Sky cameras on a pitch. Shudders.
